Just a note to be cautious with this mod, I'm not a modder and not as knowledgeable about this as some but have been doing this for years and this mod did some weird things to my operating system. I'm running 90 mods and have tried around 100 others with essentially no trouble. This mod changed something and put all games into window mode and couldn't get back to full screen any way. Forget Alt + enter and ini files. All the tricks online did nothing to correct the issue, the only thing that worked was a system restore so that is telling me it changed something in the operating system of my computer. Again I'm not a modder but I have never had a mod change my system this bad before. I essentially reinstalled and started vanilla oblivion and other games and still in window mode, strange. If you're not a wizard at modding I'd stay clear of this one, just my opinion unless someone has some ideas of why this changed my system so bad. I don't mind messing up my oblivion game I can always fix it but I don't like it when it effects my whole game playing system. Games being stuck in window mode is a huge topic online with not many answers on fixing it so just be ware.
hi swjoudrey, I'm wondering if the issues you had were caused by the OBSE plugin instead of the MOD itself. I may be wrong but I've noticed adding files to the OBSE\plugin folder that are needed for mods to work can have strange effects that can only be solved by removing them. I can't get Dynamic Music System to work because it needs Enhanced Music System 2 and the OBSE plug in for that stops the console from working and all music. I've worked out the best option is to just drop all my favourite tracks in to the Data\Music\Public folder so they play in my homes and within city walls.
I've been playing Oblivion since 2007 and I'm amazed this work of art mod is tucked away for no-one to find. It's amazing how I can now add text and images which opens up many possibilities. The ability to create extra books so you can have muliple books with different content seals the deal. The Elder Scrolls games are rich in lore and description so I don't understand why there are so few mods that allow you to write your own texts ingame but Adventures Memo is a must. I tested it with a picture of me as an infant and seeing it ingame made me laugh I soon deleted that and replaced it with an image of the Nine Wayshrines and got back to business. I have the map but to have it in a book which I can fill with custom material is a dream come true. To have multiple books I can add images and my own text to is an even bigger dream come true.
It doesn't look like the mod is still in development which is a shame because the ability to increase the scrensize and option to import more formats like .PDF and .DOC would put this mod up there with the best ever. I really hope the author sees this
I realize this is an old mod, likely unsupported but if someone could let me know how to save my memos outside of the game or if they are already there how to find them. So far they seem to be online somewhere and I can't get a link. I've checked every folder related to this mod and found nothing. Luckly I'm only 5 pages in but there must be some way to get at your entries outside of the game especially if 5 pages is the limit.
Hello my english is not very good. Sides I have a problem, when I open the book of the memo of the adventurer, it changes the cursor and does not go out at all, but, when I minimize and turn him to giving to maximize, enters a cut screen, with black bottom, in the one that appears the notepad, when I give him to close, it maximizes and I enter again to the game, this one is the second time that I install the mod, and the first time was not happening to myself, because? Thank you in advance
I don't want to ask stupid questions, but you did check the checkmark in the upper-right corner, so the editbox etc. becomes visible, right? I just didn't notice it at first, and tought you might have not noticed it either...
The setting of a default browser is not related. It looks like that some tool changes IE window size. I understood a similar case that occurred with Windows7 and "MaxMax" sidebar tool.
At first, please try this test_version plugin. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/download.php?id=69459
Please look for the tool that relates to some maximization etc. when not normally operating by this.
