What it is
This mod is designed to make throat slitting with daggers possible. The Deadly Reflex readme state’s that when a slow motion finisher is performed on an enemy with a dagger, and aimed at the neck, that it would result in their throat being slit. In my experience though, that has never happened. The daggers would just cause a decapitation every time.

What it does
A simple mod that ever so slightly decreases the daggers reach to make them compatible with the throat slitting function in Deadly Reflex. The reach has been changed by decimal amounts, so you don’t have to worry about a noticeably shorter dagger range. I guarantee you won’t notice at all ;)

Installation
Drag and drop the Throat Slitting Daggers for Deadly Reflex.esp file into your Oblivion\Data\ directory, then put a check in the box next to the file name in either the Oblivion Launcher or your favorite mod loading software (OBMM/WryeBash)

Uninstallation
Delete the Throat Slitting Daggers for Deadly Reflex.esp from your Oblivion\Data\ directory.

Compatibility/Load Order
This mod will most likely be incompatible with any mod that alters vanilla Oblivion’s dagger files. To ensure this mod works, load it after any .esp that alters or changes the vanilla daggers in anyway.

Side Notes
This mod is fully compatible with the Shivering Isles expansion pack and Knights of the Nine. This mod will not affect any custom daggers added in by mods. Any custom daggers will most likely still cause decapitations.

In no way am I bashing Skycaptain’s work ( I’m saying this in case it comes across to anyone that I am) and I think Deadly Reflex is one of the greatest mods out there. I just really wanted to be able to slit throats like the readme said, so I created this and decided to share everyone with mutual feelings :)

I have got a few comments telling me how to slit a throat. I'm told to sneak up and press shieldbash to slit a throat, but I already know this and this throat slitting function works fine for me. What my mod does is changes how daggers work in a combat situation, causing them to slit throats during a slow motion finisher instead of cutting the head clean off. Watch the video if you don't understand.

Hope this prevents further confusion.
