Problems happen when not using DarNfied UI. By following the instructions, everything should work fine. If something happens, again: read the uninstallation instruction. My previous post is more explicit.
Anyway, expert players can take a look at TheNiceOne's HUD Status Bars and my updated version HUD Status Bars Enhanced. It can be configured to replace any single feature of this mod.
Thanks for quick answer. I tested it and it seem to work great. I was planning to use HUD Status Bars anyway. That seem to be the only hud mod that change compass markers size/opaqueness depending on their distance from player.
One question: I wonder if this mod is bug-free and stable? I'm only asking because DuncanSteele and Jordanboii said it made problems. They never said why so I'm not sure they are right.
WARNING: Do not use this mod. It will break your Oblivion installation forcing a re-install.
How does it break your game?
If you follow the Uninstall instructions there shouldn't be problems. Anyway, the changes to the HUD aren't permanent, and HUDI must re-apply them every time the game is loaded. So by simply removing all the files and reinstalling Darnified (Normal or Dark) UI, the game will automatically clean any change. The disable procedure is necessary to ensure everything works fine.
Yeah this mod sort of messed up my oblivion :S cz soon as i checked it on my data files wen i was on the main menu oblivionj keeps shutting down saying oblivon ha stopped working wired huh? nowi gotta do allll mods again
OK, I have cured some of the problem by changing the UI options and moving the sneak mode icon, the compass and the level-up icon. The only problem that remains is:
1. Pop-ups are not appearing in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, but about 2/3 of the way along the bottom of the screen. I think probably the popups are being positioned as X pixels from the left of the screen, instead of Y pixels from the right, which would make them not be in the right-hand corner on wider screens.

1. When in sneak mode, the sneak icon is not in the centre of the screen, which is a little bit off-putting.
2. When the compass is enabled, it overlays the level-up icon
3. When the compass is enabled it overlays the left hand side of the time display.
I wonder whether the above is related to my screen size, which is 1920x1080?
