that makes sense, but i went back and took a look at the weighting and it appears ok, even from different angles. i've included link to the blender file. if you have a chance, please take a look https://rapidshare.com/files/3176435267/sweet3.blend

i've attached 2 screenshots in the forum thread. thanks for your response.
Looks like part of the mesh didn't get weighted properly.
If you open the file in Blender, you should see that the edge of that part of the mesh is a separate item, make sure its weighted the same as the rest.
Thanks so much for this tutorial. Just one issue that I ran into, when the armor bounces lower, a seam opens up on the breast where the top edge of the armor cup was. When the armor returns to higher position, the seam closes back up. Any thoughts on how this could be fixed?
You are going to have to provide pics of this in action.

Nephenee13, you were right about it being a texture path problem. I compared my version to the original version, low and behold, textures paths are missing. So I got the latest programs from NifTools, Nifskope, Nif Scripts Python and PyFFI. Imported the original, checked Blenders cmd window and noticed warnings stating that required textures 'are not found or not supported and no alternate available'. So its an importing problem.
Edit: I realised I need to import the armor and bodies from the main data folder, which sorted out most of the missing texture problems on import. I then remembered most of dude2000's mod uses vanilla textures so OBMM Utilites were employed to get the remaining textures into the main data/textures folder. Fingers crossed, everything will now go according to plan.
I am a TOOL! And not a very good one at that. Anywho, all stupidity aside, lessons have been learned. Big hugs to Striker879 and Nephenee13. I got it working. Big up to Saaya for the tutorial!
