Very cool mod! This little life is really missing from a game like Oblivion!! I agree with shamud about the cat-mod! It would be really nice if there were rats and mice running around reacting to each other! But that i guess would involve a merging of the two mods... Cool Anyway!
Guards react when the rats defend themselves and attack you... The rats are NOT meant to be for combat just ambiance... The point if the MOD is to add a little ( no pun intended ) a litte life to the game. Yer not supposed to kill them. ">
v0.4 functionality is likely final, but I am waiting on user input, and I appreciate your input... I will likely release a v0.41 with a better and more defined readme, if the input appears mostly positive.
I know you said you're satisfied with it and aren't planning to update, but if you do, what about making a cat-mod ( http://forum.gamingsource.net/index.php?sh...c=18650&hl=rats ) compatible version? Have the cats & rats each with enemy factions so they kill each other.
Also, for some reason, guards are rushing over to my rats and checking them to see if they're alive, after I've killed them. ">
Also, I have problems with rats following me around for some reason. I'll turn around and have a small gang everywhere I go. It activates my sneak-o-meter so it's hard to be sneaky when I get false positives, if you know what I mean. :ph34r:
