1. DESCRIPTION
===============
This mod adds many new potions to Oblivion, each with more than one effect.

The new potions could be created by the player in-game, given a sufficient alchemy skill. There are two versions of most of the potions - the cheap random loot version is priced like a homemade potion and the "grand" version can be purchased in stores.

There are also three alchemy recipe books and two "elixirs", potions you couldn't make in-game, but that makes sense (restore all 8 attributes).

This mod uses Jannix Quinn's potion bottles modder's resource. I didn't make the meshes or textures. I made some of the icons.

The idea of this mod wasn't to place the very best potions possible in the game. I just wanted some of the nice combinations you can make to be available. I know I'm not the only one who likes to keep a potion that restores both health and magicka around and that's something you can do at level 1 with the right ingredients. In fact, most of the potions in this mod don't even require expensive ingredients; they are almost exclusively herbalist potions (without elytra ichor, gnarl bark, bone marrow, void essence, imp gall, and troll fat there are only 7 potions listed that you wouldn't be able to make, 5 of which are Expert level). There are lots of other great combinations using more creature reagents, but I wanted the ingredients to be as common as possible, so that it would feel reasonable that a few alchemists out there are just making these out of things they have in stock.

2. Requirements
===============

Oblivion and Shivering Isles.

========================
3. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN
========================

Make sure Shivering Isles is installed. Paste Meshes directory into oblivion Meshes folder. Paste Textures directory into Oblivion Textures folder (goes in /Data). Place "New Potions by Tealpanda" in the Data directory.

You can ignore the JQPotionBottlesTest esp. That is simply part of the modder's resource I used that I thought I should include.

=====================
4. PLAYING THE PLUGIN
=====================

From the Oblivion Launcher, select Data Files and check the box next to "New Potions by Tealpanda".

Version 1.5 of the plugin is included in a separate folder - only use one version.

===============
5. SAVE GAMES
===============

Should be fine.

============================
6. CONFLICTS / KNOWN ERRORS
============================

This should work with most everything. It adds things to leveled lists though, so anything that alters the same lists might conflict.

If you're using OOO, MMM, Francesco's, or any other mod that changes the leveled loots lists, you might not be able to find the loot versions of the potions. However, the potions for sale should still be available.

Technical note: this mod changes leveled list LL1NPCPotionsPoison3Strong so that it calculates from all levels <= PC's level and calculates for each item in the count. Because of this you will see more poison variety at higher levels, especially on creatures such as Grummites. I think Bethesda originally meant to check those boxes because all the other similar lists are checked. But in case you don't like the change or it conflicts with something, I thought I'd point out how to put it back to the original.

10. CHANGE LOG
=================

v1.9: Tweaked the recipe books.

V1.4: Put the restore Endurance potion into the leveled lists (it got overlooked).
v1.3: Added boost potions, which each have some combination of two of these effects: Fortify Health, Fortify Magicka, or Fortify Fatigue. Added the Elixir of Renewal, a non-creatable potion that restores all eight attributes.
V1.2: Improved description and streamlined mod.
V1.1: Fixed a few poisons that had fire effects instead of frost or shock effects. In addition, some NPCs will now carry potions and poisons from this mod (mostly Novice and Apprentice level).

11. ANYTHING ELSE
=================

I made this for a friend of mine who doesn't like using the alchemy skill but likes the crazy potions I make. I hope you enjoy it.
