Yes- this mod should be considered dead. I released it when the game first came out in 06 because no one else had made one and I was so annoyed at the vanilla's "dungeon" feel to everything. Surely there are several mods which do it better.

I really like the idea of this mod and try it out the interiors are great in game but what made me uninstall it I got annoyed with the UI inventory glitchs that would happen when using it. That was the only bug i notice, Ant any rate good idea keep up the good work I’ll be checking for fixs

I hate to say this but I have to be honest, this mod caused a serious problem with my game. Namely it was causing it to rain, snow, etc inside buildings. And also causing my vampire characters to take sun damage while indoors. Which is very, very bad if you ask me.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to give this one a thumbs down, because that just isn't good at all.

By the way, I do not have the "Natural Weather" mod.

The "Natural Environments" author as of his 2.1.3 version of his mod states that "Sunlit Interiors" is incompatible:

"Q: It's raining [or snowing] inside the buildings! Is there a bug in Natural Weather?
A: It's not a Natural Weather bug. Indoor weather effects occur because of the conflicts between Natural Weather 2.1.3 and Sunlit Interiors 1.31. I look forward to fixing this issue in future versions of these two mods."

I'd imagine that since "Lights Out" also messes with the day and night lighting -- that there'd be some conflicts there too.

I too wish someone else would carry on this mod as it's such a good idea.

Of what I did see of it before switching to Natural Environments I liked. In some buildings, usually in the early hours of the day, the lighting just looked so natural.

I don't use HDR, so I'm not sure what the problem is, but it could just need some tweaks in the CS. There is a whole page of HDR related wheather variables.

I'm working on a tweaked version of this mod ATM, just globally changing the fact that sunrise / sunset is brighter than the day, darkening the nights more, adding a bit more yellow/red tint to the sun rise, sunset. Coming soon...

I'm also going to make a Shivering Isles patch

Agree this needs an update. Too bright everywhere during the day and possibly too dark for some folks at night.

Anyone who wants to may take this mod and tweak it however they wish.
