For anyone having trouble installing this with OBSE or encountering issues with Mod Organizer, install this mod manually by placing ONLY the AddActorValues.dll file into Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins.

The AddActorValues_CS.dll isn't needed for other mods to use this.

This is how I fixed my issues and I thought I should share. I haven't run into any issues since removing the one .dll

This really needs to be a sticky.  It fixed the only problem I had left.

Even if installing with Mod Organizer, delete all the esp and dll files except AddActorValues.dll during installation, or afterwards from within the installed mod's filetree.

How do I get rid of the annoying tutorial quest and custom dialogue options?
I didn't download this mod to actually use it I only grabbed it so I could make other mods work but its so annoying with all these quests, pop ups and other crap. Might actually uninstall because this is so dumb. Just put your documentation in a .txt or something for those who care.

You should just not use the provided .esp
this esp is to help modders who want to create a mod using AddActorValues

as a user, you only need the OBSE .dll file

I might have to remove this mod, it keeps reverting all actor values down to their base levels no matter what I do, and it is really pissing me off.

I really wish you could disable seeing every single NPC’s disposition toward you it’s super useless and annoying, I don’t think there’s any use for it whatsoever and it’s even more annoying that i have my crosshair disabled and can still see that trash lmfao. If someone could help me figure out how to disable that nonsense it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Do you have AddActorValues_example.esp activated in your load order?

If you delete it, it will be re-created. Setting it to Read Only seems to work. You can even delete the contents first.

the installation process makes no sense with MO2 and there needs to be a guide in here or the description. Not that hard lol

no data file on top level...

seriously is it that hard to package your mod correctly and save hundreds of people the trouble?

seriously, is it that hard for the hundreds of people that have FREE access to the un-paid hard WORK of volunteering modders to just rearrange a couple of folders in a standard archive file? after all, modding oblivion, as hard as it is, should have at least taught you how to restructure folders and files...
besides, like the description clearly says, this is a modder resource, and NOT a mod in itself...

There's no data on top level on purpose. It's an xOBSE plugin, not a mod.

Don't install the esp file. It isn't needed.
