You will need also instal the Update for the missing hellcrab meshes for this mod to work.
If using Nexus Mod Manager make sure to activate the update.
If download/extract manually the full path is included as ..\Data\Meshes\Creatures\Mudcrab\*

KNOWN ISSUES
=============

Frequent Saves, I recommend at least rolling 2 (keep saving over 2nd last save).
I made this mod on an older version of Construction Set without OBSE.
Have saved off with later version and working on an update.

Vashakarin Mirror Door Crash:

Ayleid warriors are causing a conflict with Blockhead.dll.
You could move it out from ../Oblivion/Data/OBSE to play through to the outside - I will be patching this.

Can't Kill Molagada:

I'm patching this.
If nothing else then use...
  • setstage GlowplugSilatariPenalIsleQ01 50 and wait at least 30 seconds for him to burn up.

After that there is a paper chase on the way back - first note is either at the boat or near front door of palace.
HISTORY
=======

Centuries before the overthrow that was to be led by Queen Alessia there were a sub race of Ayleid elves that detested slavery and use of daedric power.

Having studied the black welkynd stones of Loroiolatta (see below) they gained great power and insight.
Using this they foresaw pending doom and enchanted their region to another realm making it invisible from Tamriel.

By the time of the overthrow knowledge of the islands had been erased to all but descendants of those Ayleids (and those still alive).

The realm has had a history of peace and prosperity but something has recently changed this.
That is where the quests in this mod come in.

BRIEF
=====
* The first quest automatically starts after you have delivered the amulet to Juaffre.
* There are a number of outcomes but I won't spoil it and tell you at what stage.
* Save before attaching this mod, I suggest saving before each portal/door and keeping approx. 5 saves in rotation.
* This version has voice acting - I know mine isn't great but I my sister did a great job for Sepredia.
* There are 6 worldspaces and 25 interiors and...
* A number of Ayleid structures use renewed meshes and textures so...
* I think you'll find this good "bang for buck" in terms of download size.
* I expect that it will give you at least 3-4 hours of game play.

DESCRIPTION
===========

Overview
--------
This mod has a series of quests that take you across five new islands in order to defeat a powerful magician and free the Silatarian elves.

For all of the main quest you will be directed by the compass pointer however there are a number of places where there will be mazes or obstacles in between you and the destination.
I doubt that anyone will get totally lost however it is no walk in the park.
There is also a point where you have to decide which of two magicians to trust.

The final quest where you pursue to defeat the evil magician is quite hard.
It will require strategic response as your path will be blocked at a critical point until you at least shake the enemy off.

I've done extensive testing across a variety of stats and I feel gameplay is well leveled.
The main difference is "Game Difficulty" - there are a couple of places where I struggle to get through on one notch above easy but my reflexes are nothing to boast about.

There is a final, optional, quest for the journey back to Cyrodiil.
I suggest doing it as there is quite a reward.

I strongly advise against console cheats as they will either break the compass scripting and/or you will come away disappointed.

AYLEID NAMES (dungeons etc.)

Islands:
Silatari - shining woods or forest of light.
Loroiolatta - dark eternal light - to do with the magic of the black welkynd stones.
The other three islands have english names.

Dungeons:
Abasel av Agealorynd - forbidden hall of the black stone.
Mittamori - enter darkened (come to ill fate).
Rellemori - water darkened (poisoned).
Rellegarlas - water cavern.
Emerosel - hall of guidance.
Goria - obscured.
Pelinalseli - halls of the glorious knights.
Nagagarlas - cavern of death.
Vashakaran - weakened armor (defence).
Ageagarlas - cavern of wisdom.
Joraneanseli - halls of the betrayed.
