Nice, with the exception that it seems to periodically resets my items to not owned. I've used the key so that would be the issue, what could it be?

Excellent Mod ByblosHex, i havn't seen such a clean and tidy mod other than my AranMathi Elven one, it's not just the features that count, it's how much attention is given to small detail too.

The akaviri is west of anvil if you use the console and type "tmm 1" then look below anvil you will see the castle icon.

Great Mod!! But this mod modifies OblivionGateToTamriel, so conflict with Ancient Tower mod by WilliamSea.

Great mod: very nice look and design, perfect scenic location, interactive NPCs, and cute *guests* ;-).

Some very unique ideas implemented here.

A few pointers for my friends here based on my limited experience in enjoying this abode mod for a few hours:

    1. At first glance, it looks like a beautiful castle abode, but it is not a player-owned home. It is in fact exactly what its name suggests: a stronghold for the Blades warriors. You need to become a Blade in order to access certain areas of this Akaviri Stronghold. So make sure you finished the usual quest till you reached the Cloud Ruler temple, as that is the key to understanding this mod (hint, hint).

    2. Captain of the Guards will have missing body, unless you install the Blades Ceremonial Armor mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2878

    3. I didn't find any other dependencies with other mods. I have vanilla Oblivion latest official patch, and I don't have Shivering Isles or COBL/OOO/MMM. Even so this Akaviri Stronghold is perfectly rendered. Try reinstalling the mod and change your load order if you see missing meshes/textures. You can use the excellent RefScope mod to dynamically figure out missing meshes and NPC info, in-game! Highly recommended for everyone who installs many mods.

    3. Command Creature works well on the *gamboling guests*, and if you haven't tried that spell before, try it and take a few cute screenshots at sunset! The Flying Camera mod works well for screenshotting.

    4. I didn't see any Imperial horse in the stable, but it is not much important. If you are looking for a elegant, sturdy and fast horse, check out these fine steeds:

    5. Despite its medium-large size, the Stronghold doesn't seem to have spare beds for your companions, at least none that their pathgrids take into account. I suggest you can pitch a few bedrolls or tents and let your companions stroll around (and they will roam and explore the castle quite a bit and can sleep in the tent beds).

    6. Make sure you install the marketcity addon, after the original 300 Akaviri mod. This addon will add an extension to the stronghold, with a number of interactive NPCs (make sure you check out the rear of the castle ;-). And if you really want to cheat and power-level, some of these NPCs can train you (up to master-level) in most of the abilities! This is a truly a living and breathing place, and it is always a sight for sore eyes after hours of dark dungeon hunting.

All in all, this is a very nice castle mod, showcasing very innovative ideas, such as the interesting basement, scripted NPCs and guard patrols, marketplace and even a barricaded ******** gate!

Now I finally found a good reason to become a Blade! :-)

EDIT: The existing screenshots are of an older version of the mod. Please see my screenshots to see how the new mod looks.
