   2048 is very nice. Don't think I will bother with Qarl's for a while. GTX 650, AMDFX 6200

   Your Normals look more natural, i like them. Qarl always overpowered normal maps... (back in 2006 it was considered as "cool" in games)

    I know 4096 textures are bulky, but I am just curious how gorgeous will they look in game. Since I got a GTX480, I am willing to give it a try.
