Works exactly as it says, though I wish it only used soul gems when your charge reaches 0. I don't like that it seems to continue to use soul gems until your weapon is fully charged. That's only a minor complaint, however, and I will continue to use this in my game.
I know this was 11 years ago but for some reason when my weapon recharge it says it was charged by Azura's Star but the Azura's Star is still filled with soul so it is giving me unlimited charges.
I doubt you read these anymore but just incase you do, is there a way to allow your weapon to be recharged even if it'll result in an overcharge and waste some of the Soul Gem? Good job on the mod by the way.
Version 2.1 released at long last. The mod now supports the use of Azura's Star and soul gems filled using the Soul Trap spell/enchantment. It should work with all soul gems now, and finally does what it was always meant to do.
The OBSE version requirement has also been raised to 19+.
Yeah, it's a pity about Azura's Star. The idea for the mod was always that you could just hack away without worrying about your weapon's charge. As soon as I can get references to the actual objects in the player's inventory rather than to the base objects, I'll change the mod to work this way.
Hmmm... Then if you have Azura's Star and any weapon with Soul Trap, you could pretty much just keep slashing indefinitely? Thats a damn fine idea my friend! Does it work with modded equipment?
