It looks and works great. It's a shame it doesn't actually add an armor rating/extra health, as those drakes are quite fragile for things which are supposed to be - actually hold that thought; they were mostly wiped out by Cliffracers. This actually explains a lot.

Love it Love it LOVE IT! Dont need to use nifskope to add the armors to the dragon meshes tho. Just pop the meshes + texture files into the same place as the Akatosh Mout, fire up your CS and click the right Armor mounts and Bingo. Armor plated Dragons!

Nice work, the explanation is quite simple, the armor are present on the dragons under Nifskofe but do not appear on the dragon in the game (Yes I thought about saving the nif)
You are right clicking on Scene Root and pasting them right? Also, it might be a texture path problem with your setup.

I tried it, and well, some of the armors are just, bad. Most of the Helmets completely ruin the mount and the neck armor is glitchy. If the armor was more custom fit for a drake, it'd probably look better. Otherwise a noble attempt.
