This is a headsup to tell you that I've been hard at work during my freetime to update Losing My Religion to 1.5, fixing several bugs, adding some small new content and making several changes. My current changelog for this update is pretty long, I must say!
Some compatibility patches will also be updated, such as Kvatch Rebuilt and Better Cities. For Kvatch Rebuilt, it'll also be an add-on, meaning that several new NPCs will be added to Kvatch's chapel, offering services to the player and preaching.
Another important change is the integration of the Knights of the Nine patch with the main file. KOTN will now be required to use LMR and brings several changes or additions. For example, if you are the Divine Crusader, you will be able to join one of the religions or knightly orders at a higher rank. For knightly orders, this means you obtain the armored horse of your order and the heavy/light armor outfit.
Other misc. changes include schedule changes to priests so they are available more often, the possibility of asking any priest to bring you the healer, some changes to the chapel interiors and more.
In Bruma's Order of Talos, you will be able to switch the NPC statues to static, generic ones for an increase in performance if you wish.
What I hope, with this update, is to have a version that is as stable as possible before I bring it to Losing My Religion 2.0 which would include quests and advancement for each of the factions.
Thank you for your continued support and I hope to be able to bring you the 1.5 update as soon as possible.
P.S : Regarding the invisible chapel doors. I will see what I can do on my end to bring compatibility between LMR and Katkat's Cathedral Retexture.
Great news! I was worried for a moment that the mod had been abandoned. Here's a question: are you planning to do something similar for the Daedra cults? It doesn't have to be anything particularly fancy, the older games didn't have daedric cults as joinable religious factions after all, but at least make them a bit more interesting, like give players the ability to join the factions, receive blessings from the Princes, etc.
My, how time flies! An update would be amazing, particularly in the aspect of optimization. How about it, for us long time user's and fans of your mod's?
Does this mod literally demolishes Nine Divine faction from game (on the engine\script level)? I wonder because Cliff has Reactions mod which depends on this faction. Does this mean that Reactions incompatible with this mod?
lol. First priority should have been to update the patches. Unfortunately, this mod is unusable in its current state and any updates are probably a long way off.
I really like this mod and will suggest it, only problem is, i got bored of it the next day i installed it because really the only things to do is join a faction, become enemies with another faction and be open to all services. It looks amazing and fits with lore, but the factions you can join is just kinda there, there is no quests and nothing to do. It would be cool if there was quests relating to removing competition or setting a truce. Such as the School trying to set a example with the mages guild on who's better, and the Temple of Stendarr and Order of Talos settling their hatred for each other. Nonetheless it's a good mod, but just has really nothing to do.
I''m sadly getting some bugs particulary in Bruma .The windows are pink and the statues are all standing next to their pedestals and look like normal npcs.I tried the window fix but it didn't help.
At the end or after finishing quest of the Knights of the Nine DLC Anvil chapel of Dibella gets restored. When I use KOTN DLC patch for Oblivifall does Anvil chapel get restored too to its Oblivifall counterpart?
I'm having an issue: the heroic statues added by the mod don't show up as statues, but instead as giant immobile npcs. Several decorative tidbits are missing, the new npcs don't stand at their counters (not sure if that's supposed to be a thing though), and I get a drop in framerate. :|
