Yes! Thank you! I hate how Bethesda is MMO-ifying it's flagship series.

Shame that Sinderion's cellar isn't included. He only gave me one potion for all that hard work!

It actually was loaded last during my testing, so I'm not sure what might've caused the crash. But I do believe it to be a mod conflict.

I entered the house a few game minutes before 9AM, the door wasn't locked and it was still red, although the shopkeeper was standing behind the counter.

I can check back on these things (if I remember to ) tommorrow.

Good question. This mod only moves the placed container in world and its lock. It does not modify any containers contents. The containers we see in the world are just links to the container.

Mods that add new containers to the world room may conflict with the placement, as they may have been placed in the same spot I put the vanilla ones.

None of the items that laid in the store were moved to make room for the chests. I placed the chests in blank areas of the main rooms as near the NPC as possible.

I will check your CTD issue on my PC of the upper floor of A Fighting Chance, and report back.

    EDIT:

Checked the store in question and there were no errors. Keep in mind the store opens at 9AM. I was able to enter on an non red door icon. I did not have the key, and the chests did not open, but said I need a key, I stole the key from the merchant, and the chests opened up, even showing the stuff I sold to her a day ago too.

I must say it is another mod of yours conflicting with this one. You can test this by placing this mod at the end of your esp list (load last).

Oh, I didn't know that, since I haven't really used the CS much. Seems to be horrendously slow on my computer, which is funny, because my PC ain't really a low spec one. :L

I'll try it, and report back here. rofl.

    EDIT:
Okay tried it, and it seems to depend on what mod is in question since some mods use their own chests to sell the stuff.
I was able to steal some "Iron old arrows" from the chest I found under the table in A Fighting Chance, which are from one of the mods I use. I did go under the floor to see if there were any other boxes left and there were three of them which I couldn't open, so it seems to depend on the mod.

I also got three CTD's in a row when trying to enter A Fighting Chances upper floor, and noticed that if I entered the store during a day it was considered tresspassing. Haven't seen that happen before I put this mod in use.

So yeah, on the other hand it works, and on the other it doesn't.

    @ObsidianMimic

If you play with the CS, you'll quickly learn that NPC's actually sell from a chest, if you TCL through the floor, you will often see this chest that the NPC's sell from, what this mod does is place that chest somewhere reachable and makes it accessible in some shape or form, if a merchant is selling mod material, the chest should contain it. key word here is SHOULD, why dont you try it and get back to us

So just to make it clear: this only adds a chest which has the VANILLA items in it, or does it have all the items the merchant currently sells? So do mod items appear there too?

I did read there were issues in Moguras Realistic Merchant Storage mods. Keep in mind however that his mod added keys to the merchants that were not in the game. Also he included the Keyring mod as well. I also noticed that some of the chests were moved but the locks not changed, so it would just say needs a key, but had no key assigned.

This version only moved the normal vendor chests into the playable area (does not include house improvements). Then changed the lock on them to whatever the Merchant NPC had one them. No new content was added, only moved chests that were under the floor. The IC Red Diamond Jewelry uses a BidandBridal key, but that is what was on the NPC so I left it.

If there are any bugs with this mod please report them here. As it stands there should be no issues, as nothing was added.

I think making the merchant chests lootable causes problems. I can't recall what, but it was fairly major.
