Seems... bugged in 2022. I summoned a scamp, default spell, then summoned a skeleton. Scamp ran off I assume to fight something I couldn't see. Scamp's timer ran out, so I tried to resummon him with the skeleton still existing. No dice, it played the swirly animation and he appeared for a split second before disappearing. Only could summon him by himself. Shame.
No idea why but it won't work for me. I enter the console to change journeyman to 6 but it says that KB is not a recognized command. Any way to make it easier using the CS?

It has always frustrted me how conjuration became useless as i gained more levels. At some low levels, an ally was useful but now my char is very high and so are the creatures and my summons die very quickly. Now, they'll survive by being stronger in number thanks to this mod! It is a very good idea and I don't know why bethesda made the game allowing only one summon! Having a big party is so fun!
i HIGHLY recommend for this mod for any playing mods like adrenaline oblivion,ooo,etc...with default summon cap 1 you will get definitely your ass kicked!play with these mods with maxed difficulty without summons...hrrr!">

With patch 1.2 installed, there is no limit of how many summoned creatures you can use at once.
Else than that, this is a great mod
