Thank you! This is wonderful. The cliffs and hillsides in vanilla looks like the are made of cement. It just looks unlookable. Now i understand why nothing were growing there, they were actually cliffsides!
Very late to the party, but as it appears to still be relevant as of today, the file uploaded here is an .OMOD, not a .ZIP. If it appears as a .ZIP after downloading, then your browser/OS falsified the file extension, a common habit of certain recent ones.
If you only see things like "config" and "data" without any actual files when you open a ZIP, it never was a ZIP to begin with and shouldn't have been directly opened like one. This is what you see when opening an OMOD as if it "was" a ZIP, that is the file extension somehow got changed to ZIP.
Usually just changing it back to .OMOD will fix it already though.
@brad ford So far as I noticed, yes, It changes the color saturation, contrast, brightness, etc. He has done a great job for the most part that the textures "looks" like a different texture and it "looks" like higher-res. The only thing I find distracting(personal taste)is the vivid tree leaves. BUT he said that he would do 4 versions of trees/leaves. If you think the colors are to saturated you can use the Color Mood shader which is a washed-out color palette the "Crysis" look. I'm using at this moment both Color Mood and Color Effect shader. Also, If you think these texture enhancement are to color-saturated try another mod call Vibrant Textures by CorePC. His tweaks are more subtle. Here's the link:
I had a look at one of your other texture mods and as far as I could tell it just seemed to increase colour saturation, alter contrast and so on. I don't know if these mods actually improve textures so much as alter colour settings. Perhaps this is unfair I don't know.
Incredible job! I've tried your Landscape and Rocks and trees /grass textures. I'll give you 5 stars 3 times. First, I'll give you 5 stars for making these textures an OMOD. Second, because you've chosen the right textures/colors without overdoing it. Third, because they're practically the same resolution.
One thing I have notice is that you've a TALENT for blending colors. For example, a sandy soil next to a sandy colored rock or a greenish soil next to a brown-greenish rock. I'm an artist and I pay attention to these little things You my friend, have single handily proven that color mixing and placement is as important as textures and, in some cases, it has a greater impact since "color" is the first thing we see before "texture". I CANT WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT WORK!
Note: For those who are using the Color Effect shader, you'll probably want to modified the shader since these textures makes the colors more vivid as well. BUT if you like extra viivid colors then you are good to go I've noticed that the Color Mood shader with these textures makes a good combo.
Yes. The file should turn from green to blue in obmm. If the file is still green in obmm then double-click on it or select it and click activate If the file is blue then the omod is installed You can look in obliviondatatextures to see if landscape and rocks are there. You can try to extract omod to folder, any folder is doesn't matter(right-click on omod name in obmm and Etract to folder...in the folder you have extracted the omod there should be an folder mtgr landscape and rocks with 2 subfolders omod conversion data and textures...copy textures to obliviondata merge folders and overwrite if asked.
Well ive done both. i dont know if im just not getting it!? normally with omods you download the file, then you click on the little oblivion sign (omod file) and then you just activate it in obmm, is that right?? because what im getting is just the config and data file.

Edit file is ok.
Try downloading again.
If it doesn't work reinstall Obmm
