    Hello!
Forgive me, I don't manage to install your mod...I tried a lot of times but I can't see change in the creatures I meet. I installed a texture mod and then I donwloaded your animal texture mod, overwriting everything, but it doesn't work. What can I do?

Real quality work. Essential install. Screenshots don't do this justice.

Can you or anyone else post a tutorial on how to install all those texture mods? I tried everything but they just won't work.

Just extract the Textures folder from the archive inside your Oblivion\Data folder
If that doesn't work you should also do Archive Invalidation http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Oblivion_Mods_FAQ#Archive_Invalidation

hello, after I installed the textures, my mountain lion's head becomes 50% transparent ... why is this happening? -_-

    hello yic,

I'm not completely sure. Did you install all the files correctly? If you did and can't remedy the problem you can navigate to your creature texture folder (oblivion/data/textures/creatures) and delete the mountain lion textures associate with the mod. This will restore the vanilla mountain lion texture without the ghostly head.

I would recommend trying to reinstall the mod first.

    Apologies,

    M.S.

Thanks. I'll give it a try and let you know how it turns out =)

btw, I'm using the low res version. so if you're going to check, check that version.

EDIT: yep, re-installed - the head and feet are still 50% transparent. I'm gonna download the high res version and see if it's different.

EDIT 2: YES! High Res version brings the mountain lion's head and feet back to normal. which means you probably wanna check the low res version textures =)

The problem is that the texture itself is transparent, you can see it when opening it in GIMP (alpha channel, I guess, but simply removing the alpha didn't solve the problem), so I have converted it to a BMP and made a new DDS from it which worked pretty fine. Anyway, seems odd that the head mesh is supporting transparency and the body doesn't.

Great mod BTW, thanks for the work.

Hi, this mod is incompatible with Qarl´s texture Pack? Because the textures don´t charge.

Thanks a lot for the mod. An excellent work. !

Hooray for realistic looking animals! Best actor retexts I've ever seen. I live in Canada, so I've seen a LOT of deer in real life, and these textures look so much more realistic than the vanilla ones. Thank you so much for sharing these, I certainly wish I had your artistic talent (but literature was always more "my thing" ) +Endorse

Your name is misleading! jk It's supposed to be the title in a series of retextures ... mythic animals mythic creatures, mythic gatekeeper, mythic ghosts and gobins ect ect because my handle is themythofstrider.
