1. Description

Foslair is a beautiful estate located close to the Cheydinhal Main Gate along the road towards Harlun's Watch. The estate is rather extensive and has the following features:

MAIN HOUSE

Living Quarters
Alchemy Lab
Vault Room
Practice Area
Dungeon with access to Foxlair Cave and Caverns which holds two exits one to Chendinhal and the other to the Heartlands.

SERVANTS QUARTERS
WORKSHOP
STABLES
COMPANION QUARTERS
TRADING POST AND PUB
VINEYARD
GARDEN
SHEEP PIN

The estate was once owned by a highly respected nobleman named Martin Drake. He has now passed away. Before leaving this life he made arrangements to have the estates deed and key placed in his coffen with his remains. In addition, he had made arrangements so that the estates deed transfered to whomever found it.

The estate can by yours once you have located the Drake Ancestrial Crypt and recovered the estates deed and key from Martin Drake's coffen. A clue to the location of Martin Drake's remains is contained in a small chest located behind some barrels in the estates stables.

The Main House is fully furnished as are the Workshop, Companion Quarters, Trading Post/Pub and Servants Quarters. The Stable is an ideal location to house your player owned horse when you are not off adventuring or completing quests. In addition, three NPC's work at the estate. Malcom the Stable Hand, Barnabus the Smith, and Calie the Servant Maid. The Trading Post is staffed by Willie Longshank and his wife Jenny. The Companion Quarters gives the player a place to house his or her companions used to aid in adventuring and completing quests.

All in all the estate is a great player's home. Easily accessable by roads and close to Cheydinhal. BEST OF ALL THE ESTATE DOES'T COST ANY GOLD COIN TO ACQUIRE.

Install:
Use 7zip/Winzip to open the file
http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Note: If you are already usingFoxlair Estate, remove Foxlair Estate v2.0 from your oblivion/data folder

Copy Foxlair Estate v3.0.esp to your Oblivion/Data folder.
Copy the Meshes and Texture folders to your Oblivion/Data folder
Open up your mod manager and check Foxlair Estate v3.0.esp.

Uninstall:
Remove Foxlair Estate v3.0.esp from your oblivion/data folder along with the associated meshes and texture files.

The Underdark, Realm of Northdark v0.59 or better
Can be found on TSNexus.com under Underdark OMOD if you use the search function.

This mod uses some meshes and textures found in the Underdark mod. It is not necessary to check the Underdark.ESM or TRON.esp files associated with the Underdark Mod unless you plan on playing the Underdark Relm of Northfork. However, the Underdark mod must be loaded for Foxlair Estate to work.

Load order: You will have to play with that. I load it above Streamline which is located at the end of my load order. I strongly recommend you use (BOSS - Better Oblivion Sorting Software v1.4). It can be found at TSNexus.com.

Two other mods which might come in handy if you want to add things to the estate are Decorator Assistant and Imperial Furniture. Both can be found at TSNexus.com.

None that I am aware of. The estate and crypt are located in the Tamerial wilderness. Coordinates 27,19, 27,20 and 27,21. Foxlair Cave is located at coordinates 25,19. If there is a mod using those coordinates there might be a problem.

Do whatever you want with this mod except uploading it somewhere else. This is my first mod and it has been fully tested and cleaned using TES4Edit.

Added Companion Quarters, Trading Post/Pub and Sheep Pin to the estate.

Version 2.0

a. Added an additional access point to the estate along the Blue Road which leads to a gate into the estates Vineyard area near the Stable.

b. Changed out some of the chairs in the estate house so now players and NPC's can sit.

c. Added additional lighing to the outside area of the estate around the new access and Vineyard.

Added Floria to Vineyard. Added a Vault Room and Alchemy Lab to the estates Main House.

Added a Dungeon and Foxlair Cave and Caverns.
