    Greetings!

I didn't have a lot of time amidst preparing for the beta of my own large mod, but I found a little time to poke at the bridge-extension idea in Blender today.

I got it partway done, and have gone far enough to say (1) it's definitely feasible, (2) it's within my Blender skills, and (3) I'll be glad to do it for you. I don't have time *today* and probably won't for a couple of weeks, but count me in as being willing to contrib this back to you.

That filler tile for a bridge is a great idea! I'll see if I can create that for you as a contrib, since you saved me a lot of work by creating the other 99% of the tileset.

Thank you for this mod. I found out the hard way about limitations in cave making. I'll try with your mod. Thanks again for making this.

    @ Matty

The filler tile is a very good idea, though Im afraid it may be beyond what I know how to do. Or atleast what I'm capable of doing. I do believe I know HOW to do it.

I could cut out a middle section that could be used independently as you suggested, but one end would have to be reshaped to fit to the next part. The reshaping takes someone who is good at dealing with 3d models in Blender and that sort of thing. An alternative would be to just make one from scratch. Im afraid both options take a skill that I lack, sadly.

Thinking about this some more made me think it might not be too hard for me to do. If I took small enough sections from the center and then just added them to eachother until they were a tile length long that might do the trick....

Been thinking about this idea for a while, i'm pleasently suprised to see someone got there first.

I don't know if this is still active, but i have one minor query/request.

On your 3rd image at the bottom you have two pieces that connect to make a bridge.

I would just like to ask if you would consider adding a filler tile, that can be used to lengthen the brige. It would just have to be the thickness of the bridge piece, and the length of a single tile.

If this tile was added, then bridges of ANY length or height from the ground would be possible. It would really mix things up.

The screenshot with the lava reminds me of Ultima Underworld... This mod is a great idea, thank you.

Alright, I uploaded the fix for the ceiling tiles. Just allow those to overwright the originals after you download it.

I just realized while working on my own mod that I didnt didnt align some of the ceiling peices correctly. As a result "Snap to Grid" wont work in the typical fashion with them. Im working right now to fix that. Ill have the fixed ones up soon.

If anyone notices any problems with anything let me know and Ill try to fix it. <img class=">

I understand that the purpose of your pics was to display your intended functionality. I commend you for what you've done, for it takes imagination to construct caves in a non-traditional, nonconforming way to make a dungeon more attractive in design in my opinion. This is pretty much how Underdark is done, albeit with floor collisions. I believe Straton, Shadowlance and other popular dungeon crawlers construct in this manner too. I like this idea even though our project is moving to landscaping within the dungeon realms, not having to deal with the floor constraints is very advantageous. Only traditional tilers, etal whom rely on only grids would fail to appreciate this. <img class=">

This looks great. Downloading now. I understand the cave tile sets fairly well. I also understand that there were very few of them represented in the pics. If this has a good majority of the tiles split, it is invaluable and should have come with the vanilla. If not, I will still use what I can in my current mod. Will endorse after play testing.
