Over time Vilja has grown so complex and her dialog has evolved so far that even her creators can't keep track of all the features and how to access them. There are many surprises tucked away in her dialog topics and we encourage you to try them all, but even we sometimes need a guide to find our way through the dialog maze.
As there obviously is an increasing need for it, I have decided to upload an authorized NMM-friendly merged version with both the esp and the bsa of ver 4.04, as well as all the documentation.
If downloading with NMM doesn't work, this probably means that you have a 32bit system, and NMM + large file sizes + 32bit simply doesn't work that well together.
it doesnt work, the almagerd OCO version of Vilja does nothing to change her appearance or hair, i have the correct load order and all the requirements, any fix?
Hello Emma first and foremost let me say thanks for a wonderful mod! this installed and played well along with other mods, however her quest lines never started for me so i went into wrye bash and uninstalled her so could start a new with her, however once I uninstalled her oblivion would no longer load ? any Ideas on to what is happening? all her dialog works just her quest for her sister never starts. Once again thanks for this great mod and the time you have put into it for us gamers pleasure to make oblivion more fun to play.
Sometimes there is odd behavior because the game AI packages are not perfect. It could depend on the stats of the enemies but shouldn't be permanent. With "attack any enemy on sight" she should attack even with her fists if she doesn't have a weapon. She loses her bow occasionally in my game. The status of her weapons makes a big difference. The summon vilja spell has a "join the battle" option if there is a battle going on. There is the "vilja start combat" spell". Sometimes there is a battle going on (the player is under attack) and vilja is not attacking and then when you activate her she says "did you want some help". The manual has a lot of good information and explains the vilja reset function.
Overall, I enjoyed this mod quite thoroughly. The voices got a bit cringy sounding from time to time, but I can bear with it. And after taking a peek on the mod author's page, I'm looking forward to my Skyrim SE playthrough where Vilja will join my Dragonborn's journey as well.
I'm having a visual issue with Vilja. Her face has black lines under her eyes, like a closed set of eyes. it's like she's wearing a deathmask, creepy. She's the only NPC with that problem. I'm assuming Blockhead is installed correctly, as no one else is affected. I use Enhanced Genetics Overhaul, no OCO. Vilja is installed and loaded after EGO.
Tried contacting either Emma or Cooley but no luck with my question. For those who have played this all the way, perhaps someone can help me but very doubtful.
How do I trigger Vila's engagement without console? I've completed Vilja and I Part 1 but 2nd part isn't triggering. Am I missing something?
bug image not sure how responsive mod creators are with oblivion these days. i think there are some missing textures in the BSA for Vilja for her skin. when she swims she is purple... except for her face.
Purple means you're using a body replacer mod that doesn't match her default swimming outfit. Ask how her skills are progressing then choose the Options menu item. There's an entire sub-menu for you to choose swimming outfits that match various popular body replacers. You should find there are multiple choices that work and multiple choices that don't, so try them all and pick your favorite.
The most likely problem is that her horse was damaged and is currently under 1 health. The horse is essential, but if its health is too it can't be teleported with her summoning spell. Eventually the horse should heal enough for the spell to work again, but if not you'll need to find and heal it yourself.
Ask her how are her skills progressing and then select Options menu. I thought she was set to essential by default so who knows how she was set non-essential if you didn't do it.
It's been a long time (2009) since I've played this mod. I have forgotten what I'm supposed to do AFTER I cure Vilja of her poison. Waited but she doesn't mention any more ingredients. Have I messed up or is there something I am missing?
I'm having a problem with Vilja. She no longer looks for ingredients. I have waited in wilderness and there is no update or progression to her quest at all. I have followed the mod list of dispensation and have never had this issue before. not sure what the conflict could be. vilja has been a must in my oblivion load order for years and this is a new play through.
