i try to make a nif : 1 - import 3ds into blender 2 - export nif out of blender 3 - edit nif with nifskope and fuse whit a nif of the iron claymore, re-scaling, etc 4 - import nif into blender and the render is "special"
the new zip contains the 3 files : - sldprt from solidworks - 3ds for 3dsmax - the "frankenstein" nif with the problem ; i think it's the texture or uv mapping (nothing)
I made it into a nif yesterday but figured someone else had already done it, very easy in blender. File isn't mapped however so you can't just slap a texture on it. <.< I can toss my nif up if necessary, just let me know.
I really wanna help you, but I can't figure out how to make this into a NIF file. I got 3ds max 2009 and i downloaded the niftools plugin for it. But I can't figure out how to use it.
