I love the way this mod makes Bruma and the surronding areas look. Awesome job! I use Better cities however, and the two conflict. Most of the problems I can fix by disabling (a few floating sconces, rocks and trees clashing with Dalls house) but the main problem of land height I dont know how to correct. I suspect that the problem is that better cities lowers the ground level and Dalls Bruma raises it back, causing some of the houses' doors to be partially buried and screwing up the cool little pond/waterfall that BC adds behind the player house. Is there anyway to apply dalls textures to BC's ground meshes? I dont think I can choose between the two!
i have the deed to Hammerfell and was wondering how to go about changing the name and the location as it says in the deed i have no idea where to go or who to talk to and was wondering since picking up the note gunder leaves for you are you supposed get a quest update because i havent got any quest updates or anything on the matter
olafreinhardweyer you seem to be using HDR and I don't for this very reason. HDR is very mixed bag of tricks and it works reasonably well only if everything in game is kept murky and very dark otherwise your light overload symptoms are standard. Switch to game Vanilla settings or bloom if only for test and you might be surprised how much better these textures and everything else in game will start to look. Reflection map you are using will just elevate these problems even further. Is there a practical way around this? Unfortunately there are no options it is one or another. Choice is yours and blame is not mine.
I had high hopes for the mod, but there are a few things, that spoil it for me. IT MIGHT BE NOT EVEN DALLS FAULT!. First the positive things:
1. I have a GS8400 Graphic Cards only and 2 GIGs. I had no FPS issue whatsoever :-) 2. No pathing problems as descirbed below occured. 3. This is compatible to MMM Farm Animals or Hunting and Crafting (The pelt farm's still there). 4. Everything in this mod that has to do with wood (floors, walls, roofs etc.) does look exceptionally good :-) :-) :-)
Second the negatives
Please note i have a reflection map replacer installed, however it should hardly be responsible:
Everything that is white in this mod is just to bright and hinges on the unnatural:
1. The interior white walls simply hurt my eyes. They a also very much to clean. The substance does not look real to me. This is also a logical fault on Dalls part. If a people are surrounded by blinding white snow (even vanilla) they would prefer interiors easing their eyes. To sum it up, the white interior walls need to get toned down. Note, that those walls look a bit better in e.g. the Mages Guild Basement. So it is a question of how these walls reflect light, guess.
2. I absolutely hate the shiny glacier like roofs. They not at all look like frozen snow.
3. Also, to me, the landscape snow texture does not look real to me.
Solution for the negatives: Use Detailed Terrain map instead and use Vanilla roofs.
All in all i would give this file a rating of 7. Some small fixes to the above and it gets the 10, it almost deserves. As i said, the wood and other things i probably didn't even notice are really excellent.
Dall, please improve, if you agree to my comment :-)
polts that sounds really excessive. Your PC specs seem to be more then adequate so I wonder. I have suspicion that it might have to do with path-grids and calculations for use of slope inclination multipliers or simply with some very high video settings you are using.
Practical advice go in slowly or start shooting them from afar so you are attacked by just one or two animals at time.

Also because it seems that from the next release they won't have modularity any longer, so to play your mod will have to drop ALL BC's cities
Will remove the reflection map shader though and
have a look.
