For people getting overly illuminated interiors download 'Tweak Oblivion' and go to the profiles tab and check the box that says 'reduce blinding effect (HDR)' Hope this helps.
Yeah, an ok mod. Screws up interior lighting. Try going to Tiber Ceptum hotel or other well lit place and you will see. Everything bright yellow and orange, practically kills the shadows...etc. Not good. rating 5 for good attempt, but much more work needs to be done to make it worthwhile.
This also makes ALL interior cells extremely bright, makes them look green because of all the mixing light sources. I got darker dungeons and nights installed but they only remove ambient lighting from dungeons.
Errm... this hasn't made many changes for me. I put better lighting, darker dungeons and darker nights for nat_env near the bottom of my load order so it overides other mods which make small changes to dungeons (MMM, Vampires Revised etc.). It makes the dungeons slightly darker but didn't do what it said it was supposed to do, there a re still random light sources i the middle of two rings of darkness which breaks immersion ALOT. I got rid of better torches because gives torches a white/ feint red glow. I got the 3 mods in this order:
Darker Dungeons Darker Nights for Nat_Env BetterLights.
