I have given this file my endorsement. This mod makes Oblivion a much more rewarding place... you can amass a huge bank account faster with this than vanilla. I also like the little side quests added. Thank you TheNiceone for making this for us fans.
I like how this mod makes me feel rewarded when earning gold! Now I have to really work hard to buy things, and I must choose carefully what to buy. (Something I didn´t need to worry about in the vanilla game). Thank you!
Covers the same ground that LE did with some notable improvements that add greater depth of realism. Merchants being so tough with their prices is also pleasing, making it feel more rewarding to accumulate wealth.
I set the quest rewards / dialog rewards to be at 150%, however, to coincide with the increased difficulty of quests (in conjunction with OOO).. but I still only recieved the usual amount. This quest was a leveled reward, and levels 1-4 recieved only 100 gold.. so did I! It was the quest Unfriendly Competition. Is there no way to get around pre-set monetary leveled quest rewards?
I think you received the additional amount, only that you didn't notice. You see, EE handles this on a general basis, so the quest reward scripts are untouched. Therefore, the quest dialogue tells you that you receive 100 gold, and that's what you receive. But EE detects that you receive 100 gold while in a menu and then promptly adds 50 more. So if you have a savegame from just before completing the quest, try loading it, write down your gold and then compare to what you have after finishing the quest. You should then see that you have indeed gained 150 gold. If not, please report back.
