Based purely on design..this is probably the best castle/fortress mod available. Just needs a little more content to help flesh it out.
One thing in particular are the waterfalls. Where do they come from? No water in sight on the surrounding hills. Perhaps add a lake or stream nearby and an aqueduct channeling water to the fortress.

one question, though. each time i go to my room and i check my local map, i keep seeing a door icon for a vault, which i do not know how to access. i've had the fortress for about a month (real time) but i can't seem to know where to got to reach it. call me stupid, but i am at a loss here.

I like this castle. Its size is excessive in every way. From the ridiculous long-span bridge that would impress 21st century engineer through to the over-the-top courtyard to the equally exorbitant interior, this thing is several times bigger than any other house mod. And waterfalls flowing from the roof... what the heck?!?
The interior is rather spartan, though you'd expect that when the modmaker is rushing to meet a competition deadline. At least this helps to keep the framerates high despite its size. Some of the interior cells suffer from the TARDIS syndrome, extending waaaay beyond what you'd expect them to from looking at the outside of the castle.
It's obvious that jefe323 wasn't expecting this castle to be taken too seriously and just wanted to go overboard on the "look-at-me" factor. A quick look at the castle's purported hostory and the secret tomb clearly shows that he was targeting Nexus users.
If you're the kind of player who has amassed a few hundred mannequins and display cases, or want to do indoor horse racing, this big empty castle might just do the trick. All it needs is a few humvees parked outside.

I would rather the librarian is book sorter, rather then a book dealer, and I can't jump high enough to see and enjoy the garden.

Great fortress! I can't belive i forgot about this!
Awesome.
Only two flaws that I noticed:
All of the Guards are labeled as necessary NPCs. There's so many of them I just wanted to have fun killing them.
The Greeter near the entrance of the castle is constantly running up to you and saying Welcome, no matter what.
