I did exactly what the instructions told me to do. I found my favorite weapon, renamed the file, and then checked on the file to play it. However, all my weapons are pink. I am wondering if I am missing something here. I love the original mod but wanted to retexture the weapons themselves. Any help would be appreciated.
Wyre Bash indicates that the update requires SentientweaponII.esp as "master". I guess it should be Sentientweapon.esp. Reverting to the original file (without update) seems to work though.
I really like the base mod and I love this idea however I might have a problem. Whenever I install this mod and try to put the mesh of my favorite weapon in, it becomes about as slow as a claymore, maybe slower.
I am curious as to why this would be. The actual sword (Frostmourne in this case) comes out fine, look wise. It's just the sword is really way to slow for a longsword to be useful.
Thanks for the clarification. Another question: is there a way to test and see if the swap was successful and there are no issues before completing the quests and obtaining the weapon? Sorry if this feature is already included but I just didn't find it in the readme.
The textures are saved in the nif files. So even if you move them, rename them, the information is still within the file. So you dont need to move those, just the meshes themselves.
I was reading the readme and I just wanted clarification on something: we can swap the mesh file with that of our favourite weapon from other weapon mods we are using, but what about the texture files?

Besides of that, it's a great mod.

Any ideas?
Hope this helps.
