Well after trying this for the first time around a corner / backside of a house in Bravil, then a psychic non guard looking but sword wielding lady decided to take fierce law into her hands and kill me...I have come to the conclusion some tweaking needs being done on this.
Death for sleeping is pretty steep don't you think?
Have guards fine you a small fee or go to jail for a short time.
Tying it to the Wait key is way more hassle than it's worth; it would require OBSE and open up various compatibility issues.
Good idea about disabling this indoors, though. Next time I have a chance to peek in the CS, I'll see if there's a reasonable way to differentiate a dungeon from an inn... willing to OBSE it for that, even.
looks good just one question. do you plan on making a future version? if so heres a suggestion that would come in handy. try making the effect a script tied to the wait [T] key outside of buildings like morrowind did.
just a suggestion you dont need to do it if you dont want to.

Some girl kept coming around and poking me and politely smiling and motioning in a way that told me don't do that.
