Although not optimum (like Skyrim's crosshair), this works well enough for me. I'm using using the hollow circle, which allows me to see the target, and after a little practice can aim correctly. I'm also using Archery Rebalance from GalenMyra so the arrows don't drop so much and travel much faster. For those having trouble getting it to work: Extract to the TEXTURES\MENUS\MISC folder and rename the desired one to HUD_Reticle.dds. I had to run the Oblivion Mod Manager Utility, Archive Invalidation (I'm using BSA alteration) so the texture will show. The circle remains brighter when in sneak mode, but since it is thin, that's not much of an issue.
The status bars and interface look like the Darnified UI mod.
To get one of these crosshairs in-game: Unzip and pick the one you want. Put it in Oblivion Data Textures Menus Misc folder Rename it to hud_reticle.dds
