I really like your mod but thier is an issue.
I have installed all the resources from the painting mod as per the instructions, and the MOD works fine, but alll the custom paintings are their (the frames) but all the pictures are missing replaced by the bis yellow MESH error icon, obviously, you have pictures installed on you system that are not included in rither mod, please rerelease a new new version of this mod with the high rez paintings in place. thank you.

Well if this is your first mod.. umm..

    How bout this.

Make a new mod, a simple house mod that will cover the basics in CS.

just any old house, plenty of spaces you put one in waterfront. Theres a suggestions.

You can rightclick on an interior with the same design as your house, and duplicate cell. All you gatta do is move things around to make it ''custom''. Learn how to make doors go to the right place to teleport (Its so much easier and i cant stress this enough to find out how to get doors to go where you want if you add a 01 to you interiors ID so its at the top of the list, and on editors notes or whatever just type in Front Door. I do this to this day and im an experienced modder, it just takes so much time off your hands that would otherwise be wasted) learn how to make nonrespawning containers so item storage is safe.

Then when you upload it you can say ''this is my first 'real' mod." Without the quotes there(try to learn CS during this experience, fiddle with things, get things right, learn positioning, its all very easy to learn without tutorials. just spend a good hour learning the CS, and another good hour making the actual mod. Test it, edit it, find out new ideas blah blah blah.)

Im saying this, not to be brutal, but because a very VERY small edit on someone elses mod is not something to be proud to say is your first mod when you are later on experienced.

When i made my first mod LONG ago, and uploaded it months later (hunters lodge) i made everything custom. I didnt duplicate any cells, i spent 3 hours learning how to work CS on my own and find out how things work, i made the actual mod itself, i got new ideas, worked around, tried out new things, used other, preexisting areas as a REFERANCE and not a copy and paste to see how things are put together. I did this for a specific reason, i knew that i was going to like modding, and i knew i would not stop on this one house, and i wanted to say later on when i got better that my first real mod (in which case my very first) was something i can be proud of, something that looked good, something that was mine and mine alone and i can take full credit for. To this day i am glad i made that decision. I suggest you do it. I know with the right motivation you can be a great modder, and i want the same for you. I want you to be able to look back and say "This is MY mod, I made this and it is my first mod. It looks good, it looks like i had done this kind of thing before, and people like it. I may be simple, but it is something i made from scratch, it is something i am proud of, and it is something that i took my time to make from the bottom up".

Happy modding my friend, learn more, do more, get better, get good, make a mod, PM me when you made your first real mod, and tell me if my advice helped. Be the modder that i know you can be! You show potential, just take a handful of that potential and SLAM it against a wall, smear it, lick it, pleasure it, and see if that potential comes to some kind of shape that resembles something. Much like clouds. Look at that image, and CREATE!

Also, you could browse around other peoples mods, find something that looks nice, cool, easy to make, simple, and useful, make something SIMILAR but in a different location, a different building, a different everything BUT has the same concepts as that mod. Use THAT mod as a referance to help make your mod.

I look foward to seeing your first real mod, your first mod, not your first edit of a mod. PM me the link, and again, tell me if my advice helped at all. Also, if i made no sense, blame coffee at 3:35 am. for my nonsensicle ramblings.

    ~Ranokoa

PS: Tutorials help, but there is nothing like taking an hour to fool around and find out how it works first hand. (With the exception of texturing, mesh building, animations, scripting to an extent, and pretty much EVERYTHING ELSE aside from just the CS alone.)
