Pretty decent Devil Trigger. Works well with my Alastor-wielding custom DMC character. :p There are a few things I'd like to see differently though...if the original modder comes back or gives permission for anyone to change this.
Your magicka drains when you use the DT form, which I thought was good. However, there doesn't seem to be a point when your magicka drains as well as the time on the boosts/buffs begins to dwindle down. If your magicka runs out before the boosts/buffs, you revert back. If the timing for the boosts/buffs run out before your magicka, you revert back. That seems somewhat wrong to me. I would suggest giving an unlimited time to the buffs but have your magicka gauge drain like it already does. To further balance it more, make it so you can't use DT until your magicka bar is either fully restored, 1/3 restored, or maybe even half restored. And if you end up getting a lot of magicka at any point, make it so DT drains your magicka by percentage, not by numbered amount, if that makes sense.
Those are just my thoughts for an already decent mod. I think I'll be using this for a while.
good mod, oh, don't get mad or anything but, karonic, you're thinking of the devil bringer, not trigger, trigger is the ability of a demon/half-demon to assume it's "true" demonic form. just wanted to set that straight since DMC's my favorite game title. did you know DMC was originally designed to be resident evil 4, but they decided to make it a seperate title instead.
was about to ask same question,in devil may cry he has like a devlish glow (the player is half demon) kind of purple fire around him and he moves faster and stronger,so i am going to assume this is what this does as ive not downloaded and tested yet.
I haven't seen/played Devil May Cry yet, but what exactly does this 'Devil Trigger' do? Does it summon demons? Or just one demon? Or does it kill someone instantly? Thanks for answers.
