For some reason the fire effect doesn't work at all (it does for all other mods of this kind though) and the Mace of Molag Bal is unaffected even though other absorb weapons' effect work (this on the other hand seems to be a common issue)
Also, the persistent glows look both unsightly and redundant, and some particles should be scaled down as well.
Awesome, given oblivion makes sparse use of particles, this shouldn't have much of an effect on performance, seems like we have alot of overhead for particle/shader effects
As far as I remember even back then in 2006 / 2007 shader effects didn't have any noticeable effect on perfomance. Just for testing purposes in another mod I combined several big shader effects together (much, much more than anything seen in this mod), and it didn't even cost 1 fps. And that was on computers that are ancient relics now.
I do know how to kill perfomance (many lights, actors and especially NPCs, and a couple of more stuff). However particle and shader effects were not one of them :).
