Use the troubleshooting guides linked in the readme, which I spent time making so I wouldn't have to walk users through the same steps again and again. I know there is a lot to learn and a lot that can go wrong, and I do want my mods to work well for you; but it is very disrespectful to treat someone's time trivially and not try to help yourself first.
If the guides don't lead to a solution, make sure you have provided adequate information for me to see or reproduce the bug, so I can understand it. Screenshots, load order, steps taken, etc. I can't fix what I can't see, you know?
Consider that this mod is six years old and has over 35 thousand users. Also, I've been using it the entire time myself, with literally thousands of game hours played through multiple saves and complete play-throughs of all quests and major quest mods. That would not be the case if the mod was really broken. Please keep perspective on the likelihood that you are experiencing a mod conflict, an error in your saved game, a general fluke, or the result of an improper installation.
If you still have something to report, I'm happy to help.
Anyone had a problem with Telaendril's Chest being empty new playthrough or not? I've tried looking at the esp to see if I could spot any issues I don't see anything out of the ordinary.
Edit: Seems some of these items won't show up until your a certain level.
no idea why, but even with the brightest interiors option its extremely dark and the fps inside is really, really bad. I'm playing with 5600x and 3070 ._.
I really like this mod! Though one thing I have a question about is, wyre bash kept highlighting the brighter/brightest interiors eps's red and I couldn't figure out why. Maybe just needed to move somewhere else in load order?? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm kind of new to modding oblivion and essentially had to teach myself.
A red background for Oblivion in Wrye Bash indicates that mod shares the same timestamp as another mod. You need to redate your mods either through Wrye Bash, BOSS, or LOOT as the last two do this when sorting your load order. The Wyre Bash General Readme contains a lot of helpful information in using Wrye Bash. You should read it and refer to it often.
Under the display case where the Sanguine Shrouded Gear & enchanted blades located at, on the wall I see a wall plaque with the initials "H.I.T.W." does this has a secret meaning to it, or it just there to be there?

I was curious & no noclip to see anything behind the walls I notice a "Spare Goods" chest floating in the void that's behind the wall near the wastebasket & the display case, is it tied to those initials?
If H.I.T.W. is tied to a secret, please don't spoil me with details just give me a simple answer, for I want to figure it out myself.
Does the Welkynd Stone Holder only become functional after the questline is done? I had a Welkynd stone in my inventory and when I tried to activate it it said there is nothing in my inventory that would work.
For some reasons the lanterns and braziers around the sanctuary are not casting any light. When I remove the mod they all light up the place, but with this mod the sanctuary is basically pitch black.
My apologies for the late reply! I can't reproduce this. I have noticed that the sanctuary is much darker to me than when I originally made the mod, though, since I replaced my computer and monitor, and I wonder if everyone else who had newer hardware (and more graphics mods, possibly?) had been seeing a darker sanctuary than me for some time. There are two plugins in the package -- one called "Brighter Interiors" and one called "Brightest Interiors". Please try them and let me know if one of those alleviates this issue for you.
That said, the ambient lighting is separate from whether or not light sources are actually emitting light. Even in the darker interior, I can tell that the light sources in mine are actually giving off light. This is almost certainly a mod conflict of some kind. Do you have a mod that makes any sweeping changes to lighting or light sources? Would you be willing to send me your load order? I'd be happy to take a look.
I actually used the Brighter and Brightest Interior options before asking here. Neither make the sanctuary brighter at all. My only lighting changing mod is All Natural, but I didn't even have it so much as downloaded when I tested this mod out.
That is really strange. =\ All Natural wouldn't be a factor anyway, as the sanctuary is underground with no windows, so All Natural doesn't edit it. Would you be willing to send me your load order?
All Natural might affect it since Real Lights was built in to it, but again, it wasn't active at the time. I'll send a load order soon, or maybe do my own testing through the basic "turn off a chunk of mods, see if it works" method.
Okay, weird shit. Just tested it again, activating every single one of my mods, and the problem seems to have fixed itself. I must've removed the offending mod at some point, I suppose. Oh well, thanks for trying to help.
Khettienna, I've been using this mod for long and I always had the "it's too dark" experience.
I have a question to ask - would it be possible to revert the lightning to vanilla values? That's my only gripe with the mod - I think this one is great but I'm always so saddened by the fact that I have to use a torch. Not the even the "brighter" .esp satisfies me enough.
Hello, thanks for letting others to reuse the resources from this mod, I merged your leather hoods with the mask from Vanilla Gear Redux's shrouded hoods. I mentioned you in the credits: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/51725
Endorsing because it is a beautiful mod (and I honestly love the shadowy hoods. Use the mask from Banes United Guilds and you cannot see your character's face at all).
Echoing the same thing as the others though on dark interiors. I used the Brightest setting addon, and it's still practically pitch black to the point that I have to use night eye and torches to get around. Using an ENB with Oblivion Reloaded Full, and I can give my mod list order if you want as I'm scratching my head and wondering how to fix it, or if it's a placement issue.
Are you by any chance using Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul? It has a feature that reduces the light level in dungeons, and because the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary cells use the Dungeon music type, with or without this mod, they are also affected.
I find the light level in this mod fine by default, but with MOO, it can indeed get very dark, depending on your settings. The Arena Bloodworks has the same problem, by the way, since that also uses the Dungeon music type.
Some easy fixes would be to either turn off MOO's Dungeon Light feature, or to change the music type in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary cells with TES4Edit, so that they're excluded from darkening.
I am indeed using MOO! Thank you for that because I do have the same problem in the Arena Bloodworks as well and have had to use a torch just to get around in that lol.
I'll give it a shot right now and see if editing the music type with TES4edit helps.
Edit: It worked! I changed the music type to "Public" instead of "Dungeon" and while it's weird to hear townie or overworld music in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary (given it's a... well... dark place) it does fix it and I can even use the brighter options now. Thanks for the help for sure!

Can you post a picture?
