Really surprised that this is still downloaded at all. Skyrim easily has the better engine, and the behind-the-scenes modding changes even made most of this unnecessary.
I have some time now so will take a pass at bug fixes for COBL, will open a bugs tab here to collect those. At the least I need to compare the latest UoP and make any updates if there are conflicts. And try to tackle the Races issues that keep cropping up.
As for general improvements, this mod interlocked with OOO, MMM, and a few other mods. There was a crew for that but they fizzled out once FO3 came out. If anyone knows of active development, PM me and I'll try to help out. Otherwise, I was actually thinking of some FO4 mods so you'll find me over there....
@Dispensation I just got curious about that myself, and I'd wager they're talking about 'gypsy tarts' (in the screenshot), which is hilarious 😂 What a time to be alive
You know you've solved all the real problems in life when you have to complain about a baked treat in a 20-year-old game. 😛
@Gliktch Casual slur usage is related to current real world problems, shockingly. Implying that someone disliking a slur is silly and not worth thinking about as if caring about real world problems (like racism) vs casual slur usage are somehow mutually exclusive is honestly extremely weird.
Anyway, two things can be true at once: 1) G*psy was far, far less commonly understood to be a slur back when this mod was created (and is still far less commonly understood to be a slur), and thus its inclusion doesn't really say anything about this mod author or the people who downloaded this mod. 2) For people who prefer not to see real life slurs tossed around casually in games they're playing for fun in their spare time and where they're expecting not to actually see any real life racism, the presence of that word can be a real mood-killer.
For some reason Wrye Bash refuses to merge Cobl Filter Late MERGE ONLY into the Bash Patch. Rebuilding the patch does not merge it. Ever. I don't know why that is, but if one of the Cobl Team ever pick up this mod again, please consider patching this issue? Thanks!
Nope BOSS has not had any kind of update for 4 years (and you have to search around the internet to even find that - otherwise it's 8 years out of date), while LOOT has had constant updates in that period including it's Oblivion Masterlist.
Plus regardless of whether you use BOSS or LOOT, you should never fully trust either with your load order and should check for conflicts manually with Tes4edit and learn to resolve them on your own, whether by manually altering the load order, creating a Bashed Patch and then further creating you own manual conflict resolution patch. That is the best practice for modding Oblivion - shame it's only practiced by 0.1% of Nexus Mod Commentators.
How can I add Luggage object to my mod using GetFormFromMod script? What exactly object I should use (you have quite a lot of variants of luggage)? I just cannot understand how you distribute Luggage through inns and guilds though.

so extract Codl copy the 01 stable core folder (place on desktop, just cause its easy to find)
within vortex "install from file" select the "01 stable core folder".
Loot should confirm it
