Love the race and how it looks.. however.. I cant complete the Arena with it, as the armor is an all-pieces armor.. and where the race cant wear boots... I cant wear the arena raiment. Other than the boots thing though, I love it. Just not for someone who wants to do the Arena stuff.
Hi! This reply is years late, so I have no idea if you'll see it- but I swear there's a toggle-command (console command) for the custom feet. I am hunting it down. It's in my memory that it exists, but I have forgotten it.
Basically this is a bug because Valen dreth isnt programmed to know youre not one of the vanilla races. To fix this you could download the alternate start mod which starts you on a boat without long intros or just do what you are doing now and change to the mod race when you get to the exit of the dungeon. Or get the oblivion race mod fix.

I swear there was a toggle command for their feet though, and I have since forgotten it. I gotta pour over the page and see if it is mentioned.
Only complaint that I have is that it won't let me wear full-body armor like robes or the Shrouded Armor. Otherwise, it's a lot of fun.
I really wished other race mods actually bothered doing that.
