Found a weird bug. I took the vow of the Order of Talos in Chorrol, with the quest to bring Martin back to the Weynon Priory just started. I hung around Chorrol before leaving to get Martin, and after a day or so the attack on Weynon occurred - BEFORE even getting Martin. Reloaded, same thing again. I temporarily deactivated this mod and reloaded, and no attack this time. No attack still days later. So I have the mod active, but I'll take the Vow of Talos after I've progressed more in the MQ.
Sure. I used the CS to change the edited shader's values back to their originals. Look at the settings the edited shaders have in the Oblivion.ESM and change the values in the Vows and Covenants.esp to those. Hope it helps.
hey for some reason when i go to the shrine of boethia and make the covenant with that one dude he dosent give me the mail it adds the quest and drains my luck but no mail ive tried going back on saves and stuff to retry but no luck do i have to finish boethias quest to get goldbrand first?? or is there something im missing pleas really need help the ebony mail was pretty much the only reason i downloded this mod
This is a really awesome idea and you have implemented it really well.
I've tried roleplaying characters for each vow, and they all offer different and fun playing styles. This is the kind of thing which should have been in Oblivion from the start.
No conflicts or problems with any of the other mods I have installed, and it doesn't affect the game at all unless you decide you want it to. Activate it via dialogue and select an option that suits you. Really adds a lot to the game if you play it for roleplaying.
I also like how you have made it so that it needs to be initiated by talking to NPCs who can tell you about each god and the NPCs are well chosen. It doesn't feel like a random modded addition to the game, it feels like a natural part of the adventuring and character experience. Nothing pops up and breaks immersion, it all just happens depending on what you say to NPCs.
Really worth adding to your mod list even if you only use it when you're making a RP character.
This is one of the most necessary mods, that I have. This is an incredibly creative, original and diverse mod. Right now, I'm playing a pilgrim that has taken the vow of Mara. WOW! By everyone else's standard, i am positive that I'm playing the most boring playthrough ever, but it is exactly what I've been looking for! I can't kill anything, but that has granted me a very cautious and sometimes unpredictable dungeon crawl. You never know if someone will turn on you and attack so you have to always have an exit strategy. A very slow and stressful game! This is hands down the most fun I have had in the history of gaming. All because of this mod! Thank you, thank you, thank you. (I know your'e gone, but just in case you swing by and see what the what...)
What a fantastic idea for a mod! It's a crying shame that Bethesda do not incorporate such great RPG mechanics into their vanilla games.
I would love to see the mod author return and finish this mod by adding the remainder of the two respective Pantheons, and continue to support it for all the RPG fans who play this game. It is mods like this which add a sense of depth and immersion to the game which simply cannot be found elsewhere. Bravo, Picador!
This mod has been working fine for me and I like it very much, but it causes an audio bug in my game. It's a persistent sound loop that I'm not sure how to fix myself.

Do I have to kill a worthy foe first?

Edit: Nevermind, I think I figured out how to enable them myself. Thanks again for the awsone mod!
