The links in the description showing the location may be broken but the screenshots the author provided on this site also shows the location. Basically, you need to check underwater near the wall in Cheydinhal.
So I installed it via NMM, but when I get to the spot where it's supposed to be, I just see a large model of an exclamation point. What did I do wrong? The ESP is enabled and it's installed on NMM... Help?
That's the game telling you that you have missing meshes ... the containers are all custom meshes and textures. But even if you could open the containers all you'd be opening is a further world of hurt.
I haven't used this in years but the full package regular download (not the OMOD version full) is packaged in a manner that NMM should understand (but then again nothing I've heard about NMM has given me the slightest inclination to even give it a glance, least not for Oblivion).
Once you've extracted the download it's as simple an install as you'll get ... right click on the Data folder and select copy, navigate to your game's Oblivion folder, right click it and select paste. Answer Yes to All in the Windows folder warning, activate the ESP in whichever manner you please and play.
My apologies dude, it's not your fault. IT'S MOD MANAGERS FAULT. They did not activate the ESP file when I installed the mod, even though the box was checked. They owe you an apology, you've gotten a lot of criticism you didn't deserve. For all those who are having the same issues I suggest that you go back to your oblivion launcher and manually check the box.
I really don't know what the problem is but a lot of us are having the "Same exact problem" with this mod. I have looked in the water, drowned my character six times looking. there is nothing in that location, I do not know what is so different about my setup but this is not worth the headache. I appreciate the work you put into this but I'm not impressed. Sorry dude.
