    I am another who fell in love with this when I saw it.
    NOTE: The following refers to the "LITE" version of this mod only. I have not downloaded the other version. Also, the changes listed do NOT affect the files found here! I have changed only the files in my own game.

    As a part of learning how to install and use mods, one of the important things I have learned to do is to use TES4Edit, a mod editing tool available here on the Nexus, to "clean" the mod after installation, but before use. "Cleaning" a mod involves deleting files from the mod that are identical to the master files in the game, each of which can cause crashes and/or other problems. Also, undeleting and disabling references is a part of the "cleaning" process. These are files that have been deleted by the mod author when creating the mod. However, doing this can cause problems for other mods that try to use these files which are no longer there. By undeleting and disabling them, it allows all the mods that use those files to use them while not affecting the mod they were deleted from.

    As you can see, there is a troubling error involving placement of a creature.
    Since people tend to really love this mod, and also have some minor problems with it; not to mention it was the author's first ( ! ) mod, and that he seems to not be active on the Nexus anymore, I thought this information might be helpful to know for anyone wanting to use this mod.
    Hopefully, the mod author will return to it at some time, and this will help him to create an improved version of the mod.
    Once again, this information is for the "LITE" version only, and none of the files on this site have been changed in any way by me. I only wanted to let people know what they might expect to find in their download.

    I am so glad I found this mod again. I had this on my old computer and absolutely loved the mod. My modding/computing skills have improved by quite a bit, luckily I was able to experience this wonderfully atmospheric mod.

    I downloaded it back then, and I am downloading it again!

    An outstanding choice for game enhancement. Thank you also for making a smaller version for those who are already having to watch their kb load. It would be great to have the hut without the quest for an even slimmer mod. Still, it is going to stay as a valued addition to my game. There is a yellow thing behind the retort but everything else is perfect. I have gotten that same yellow thing in several mods lately and always behind a retort or alchemical set. It even happened with esp & bsa installations. I don't use Cobl and I think these mods were set up with it in mind though they said it wasn't necessary. Nevertheless, the mod stays.

    Thank you for giving us such a clever mod that adds so many possibilities for our games.

    The house is small and cozy, but BIG in character.
    A little hard to get to the armor and clothes storage chests, but other than that its a perfect.

    I love the idea, the story, and everything! I really want to keep this thing... Only thing I don't care for personally is the textures you used. Just feels like they clash horribly with the blackwood area in my game.

    HOWEVER, this is only cosmetic! Otherwise it's fantastic! I'm endorsing.

    EDIT: Also wanted to add that, if you use Slof's Better Bodies or Slof's Better Beasts (or something similar that adds claws/spikes to argonians), there will be some weirdness around the cooking pot. It's apparently an argonian's tail with the body and such deleted, but if you use a mod like what I mentioned before, you'll still see the spikes/claws floating around the cooking pot where the body/hands/feet used to be.
