Hey mate, sorry I only just saw I had a new comment on this Anyway, I'm sometimes to busy to fix textures myself, but I am always willing to have a look at a texture, and offer advice or opinions
Very good work, look forward to seeing more of it. By the way I especially appreciate that you have a very helpful and positive attitude towards the time and effort that goes into modding even if it is just retexturing.
Out of curiousity, I often find mods that are close to perfect if not for just a little bit better texturing or a slight change in color or what-not... if I were to point some out to you, would you have any interest in maybe having a go at making them better or giving an opinion as somebody that knows about textures (provided all permissions and yada yada were taken care of)?
I'm glad my textures are liked ;-) I do my best NOT do do generic retextures :-D
The reason some of these are lower quality is that I don't usually make these with the intent to release them; I usually just wind up testing a new technique, and when I'm done, decide to throw it on here just for heck, as such, some of these really don;t warrant release, I just see no reason to hold onto them :-)
I'm always happy when people show interest in my mods, thanks ;-)
these textures are good, and i aint a retex fan. simple cos EVERYONE retextures daedric black. textureing the swords and armour to have markings and diffrent colour combos make em look awesome. great work, keep it up
I'll be sure to get back to you for ideas. Thanks for the links!
By the way, I'm sure there's a lot of stuff you can do with Daedric armor and weapons. They look cool in the first place; imagine what they'd look like if you retextured them (silver and red would look good, I think).
I already have the Hashassin armor (or however you spell it >_>, but I found that the variation on your other list was just a bit cooler. At the moment I'm making a list in MS word of all the good stealth mods I find.
And I'll keep in mind to tell you if I come up with any retexture ideas.
I too would like to make some thief/assassin armor(s), as I alost exclusively play as stealth-based characters, however, I have found some limitations on my part concerning them. Essentially, I have to take an armor that already exists in the game, and then change its appearance as far as colors and patterns are concerned. Unfortunately, in Oblivion, there are only two suits of armor that are really appropriate for a thiaf/assassin; Leather and Shrouded. While I can retexture those just as easily as any other model, I have not thought of any great ways to retexture them, as both have been retextured quite a lot in the past, and I have yet to imagine any original ways to change them that would look good. I will continue to think on ways to retexture these, but until then, perhaps you can find some armor you like here:
This is a page of links I coordinate to all stealth-related mods I have found for Oblivion, and there are some very impressive armors that do not use body replacers in it, specifically this one is my favorite:
Hey! These are really cool (especially the ember and silver longsword. Good idea).
I noticed that you mentioned taking requests in the description for this mod. Since all the body retexture things (at least, the ones that will actually work on my PC) are nude, and I don't want to.. like.. have them, I'm suffering from a severe deprivation of super-cool armor.
I don't want to get all specific or anything, but I think it would be great if you could make some kind of thief/assassin type light armor.

Anyway, if you have any ideas for any specific ways to change a vanilla armor, please let me know. I'm glad you like what I've done ;-)
