I know this likely won't get any replies because it's over a decade old, but if anyone knows how to change the gear set on the z and c keys please let me know. I got new stuff and want to set that gear to the key but no matter what I do it won't change off my old set to the new one I want to map to it.
I use Q, C E R T and F for different things. Q is my special attack for Deadly Reflex, C is my duck/dodge button. E is my use button, T is for waiting, and R is for drawing/sheathing. My question is, why use those? And is there a way to just set them to 1-0 - = and the F keys?
bleh...I was about to DL this but then saw that hotkeys are FORCED on you without options to select what keys you want. I use E to activate since I am so used to the old FPS / Half Life intro to gaming I had so many years ago.
You could still use E for activate. The keybinds only select current spell when used in combination with the modifier keys. You would still need to cast the spell anyway, all this does is keybind to select the spells.
I have a little problem whit this mod, both the old version 1 and this version 2. I usually play in third person but whit this mod I can not see the health bar of the enemy and the icon (the eye) that shows if you are detected when sneak. But if I press shift or alt (default key) the health bar and the icon turn back The problem doesn't occour in first person Can someone help me? ty
It seems if I equip the arena raiment via gear keys, the game doesn' recognize you have it on, dunno if somebody else had that problem b4... Other than that, not a bad mod, but the fixed key slots are a real bummer, we really should be able to customize
Right now this mod is inferior to all other hotkey-changing modes, especially Enhanced Hotkeys v2, which supports: a) vanilla hotkey mode - 1 spell or item for 1 hotkey, no auto-casting b) 3 cycle modes - when you have multiple itemsspells on the hotkey and you cycle through them by pressing the hotkey c) autocast - when you press the hotkey the spell is only cast once, and you have your previously selected spell selected again d) multi-autocast - by pressing the a single hotkey you cast the chain of spells e) full gear-equip - equips all the gear binded to the hotkey
This mod, however, supports only 2 of the above mentioned modes.
....great idea, now just let us customize the keys, instead of forcing us to work around your playing style, and we're good. Not everyone plays exactly the same as you, so the more customizable you make your mod, the better.
If you had customizable keys (even if it was through an outside-of-game .ini file or text or something) you could easily have a hundred thousand downloads.
