I would like to let you know that your ini tweaker works wonderfully under xp 64bit, with no problem at all.
I'm glad to know that it is working for you (v1.00 I assume?). Without access to the source files I have sadly not been able to fix v1.10.
doesn't have all the tweaks though, like the memory usage tweak and enabling the threads and so on.
The tweaker was developed with this in mind. Users can modify the settings.ini file to add their own tweaks to the file. (As all the tweaks can be removed and changed via the application's settings.ini file, there's technically nothing preventing this application being used to tweak ini files for other applications or games).
For example: if you look in the settings.ini, you'll notice the following code
[12] Name=Health Bar Above Enemy Ticked=1 Unticked=0 Category=GamePlay RealName=bHealthBarShowing Tooltip=Enable to show health bar above enemy's head
The above code describes the tweak that should be performed, including a user friendly description, location in the ini file (category/section), attribute name (key), desired value etc. I previously had a tutorial written to describe how to create your own tweaks, it appears that has also been lost. That said, it's not terribly complicated and i'm sure others will find it easy enough to pick up.
If you (or someone else) is willing to provide the code for newer tweaks, I will happily upload a newer version to tesNexus which will allow all other users to benefit.
For anyone trying to download a copy but finding that it isn't working, I have uploaded an old 1.0 BETA version that I found on my HDD. It is missing a lot of tweaks and is missing quite a few of the functions that are present in 1.10 but I suppose it's better than nothing for now =
I will endeavour to find my source files for 1.10 and try and fix the problems but I do not have Oblivion installed anymore and sadly I don't have much time to dedicate to it either.
If anyone wants to compile an updated list of tweaks in the format of those found in settings.ini in v1.0 (I have been absent a long time from the Oblivion community and do not know of what tweaks can/should be performed) please send it to me via email or ESSource private message. You will be credited ">
Sorry to those who want to try 1.10 but are finding that it's bugged">
allways got "could not find oblivion.ini"..entered the path..nothing..same massage. could u make it searching for oblivion.ini like in the last version ? would be fine. thanks
