1 - Description

(first of all, excuse-me for my bad english)
This mod adds 2 playable races to the game : wolvens and vexends, with their own appearance and characteristics.
They are derived from khajit meshes with a quick (and dirty, I'm afraid) retexturing.

In-Game description :

Come from the kingdom of Hircine and often considered as creation of the daedric prince, Wolvens are evil by nature. High strength make them efficient warriors or knights, despite their affinity with destruction magic.

Vexends are a creation of Hircine, valued for their great dexterity. Most of them choose to take up a career among shadows because of their ability to run and hide. According to their ethics, they often became thieves, agents or murderers.

2 - Changelog

v1.1 :
- Added new mesh for head
- Added new mesh for ears
- Fixed missing eye textures for wolven
v1.0 :
- Initial release

3 - Requirements

- Oblivion, with 1.2 patch (not tested with older versions)
- KT Custom Race Fix or Unofficial Oblivion Patch

4 - Installation

Extract the files in your oblivion data directory
Load the "Vexend Race" plugin
Play the game, the new races should be available when starting a new game

5 - Body Replacers (optionnal)

This package also provides textures for the following body replacers :
- Exnem's EyeCandy
- Robert's male body replacer
- Robert's female body replacer

To use them:
- Go to the texture directory of the choosen race and sex (ex: C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\meshes\characters\vexend\female)
- Remove footfemale.dds and footfemale_n.dds (or footmale.dds and footmale_n.dds)
- Copy the appropriate textures (which should be something like "XX_footfemale.dds") from the "plus" subfolder, according to the pack you installed :
RT_ for Robert's packs
EX_ for Exnem's pack
VN_ for standard textures
- Then remove the file prefix

I recommend the use of those as currently the textures provided by this package for the vanilla models are rather ugly.

6 - Credits

I have to thank Exnem and Robert for their body replacers. The textures provided by this package are directly derived from theirs.
