It's not the magicka needed during a fight that gives me a problem, it's using magicka during a fight, then healing, then having to wait before heading off to the next part of the dungeon that bothered me.
This mod really increases my enjoyment of Oblivion by drastically reducing that wait time. Thanks very much for making it.
A good idea, though unfortunately some people (like me) use supreme magicka which has an .ini file that can be used to fine tune the rate of magicka regen.
It's so much better to play as a mage after installing this. I was getting so tired of having those big, ****ing ugly orcs run up to my face while swinging around their large ugly claymores like mindless dumbasses while I stod there, unable to defend my self.
I mean, you can AT LEAST attack and defend with zero fattigue. You can't do a thing with zero magicka, and magicka regens slowly in vanilla. Too slowly even with 100 in willpower. Incredibly unfair. I hate how they overpowered the most mindless class of them all: the fighter class.

Great mod, with all the options of regen bonuses to tailor the difficulty level you'd like to play with.
This and fast casting spells turns you into a spell Vulcan machinegun.
No more casting two spells and waiting to load.
