Permissions and credits
This mod adds a number of new keys. 9 QuickCast keys allow you to cast a spell without changing your current spell. 4 QuickGroup keys allow you to change between different sets of hot-keys. 6 QuickSet keys that allow you to equip many items at once. Intelligent Activate & Cast prevent stupid mistakes like stealing without sneaking or casting a dangerous spell on friendlies.

This mod allows complete customization of all extra controls it adds, and will allow you to selectively disable some or all of them (if for instance you only want 6 QuickCasts or 2 QuickSets).

Details
=======

Configuration (Under "Other Keys" in configuration)
-------------
Default: Ctrl + Shift + U

You can access the configuration by using the item "[Uncommon Controls Config]" or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+U (can be changed in configuration).

QuickCasts
----------
Default Modifier: NONE
Default Keys: Numpad 1, Numpad 2, ... , Numpad 9

This will cast a spell without changing your current spell. You can set these by going into your spell menu, hovering the mouse over a spell or power, and pressing the QuickCast key. To use the spell you simply need to press the QuickCast key while playing the game normally.

You can optionally set a QuickCast modifier key that will be required to be pressed for a QuickCast to be set or used. You can theoretically get a small performance increase by using a QuickCast Modifier.

NOTE: This will not work with scrolls as it triggers an annoying bug in the game.

QuickGroups
-----------
Default Modifier: NONE
Default Keys: 9, 0, -, =

This will change all your hot-keys to a different group. Hot-keys are set just like in the normal game.

You can optionally set a QuickGroup modifier key that will be required to be pressed to change the QuickGroup. You can theoretically get a small performance increase by using a QuickGroup Modifier.

NOTE: You can only change QuickGroups when not in the menu.

QuickSets
---------
Default Modifier: NONE
Default Keys: Insert, Home, Page Up, Delete, End, Page Down

This will allow you to change multiple slots of equipment with a single key-press. You can assign equipment to a set by going into your equipment menu, hovering the mouse over a piece of equipment, and pressing the QuickSet key. You will be informed of any equipment added and removed from the quick set by a message in the upper left corner.

If you wish to remove an item from a QuickSet do the same as above, but instead of the item being added you will be informed that it was removed.

You can optionally set a QuickSet modifier key that will be required to be pressed to change the QuickSet. You can theoretically get a small performance increase by using a QuickSet Modifier.

NOTE: You can only change QuickSets when not in the menu.

[NEW in Version 1.1.0]
You can now also change what each QuickSet will do when you press it's key...
- Equip Only: It will only equip the set contents (DEFAULT)
- Unequip Only: It will only remove the set contents
- Toggle: It will toggle the set contents (equip what is not & unequip what is)
- Toggle All: It will toggle the set as a group (equip all or unequip all)
NOTE: These can be changed on a key by key basis in the QuickSet configuration menu under [ Advanced ]

When you activate the set you will be informed (in a single message) what was equipped and what was unequipped. This will not show up if you have disabled QuickSet messages.

Information (Under "Other Keys" in configuration)
-----------
Default: Right Ctrl

If you hold down this key and press any of the QuickGroup, QuickCast, or QuickSet keys it will provide you with information on that key. QuickGroup will inform you of what all the hot-keys are set to, QuickCast will tell you the current spell, and QuickSet will tell you all the equipment it is set to equip. When using this you do NOT need to use any set modifier key for this to work.

This key cannot be set to the same key as any of the QuickCast, QuickGroup, or QuickSet Modifiers.

NOTE: Oblivion differentiates between the Right & Left Shift/Ctrl/Alt keys.

Intelligent Activate
--------------------
Default: V

If you press this key it will act just like the normal activate but intelligently (obviously).

NOTE: This should not be set to the same key as your normal activate key.

You can configure it to...
- Always: Work just like normal activate
- When Sneaking: Only allow you to steal while sneaking (DEFAULT)
- When Undetected: Only allow you to steal while sneaking and undetected
- Never: this basically changes your normal activation key into a steal key

[NEW in Version 1.1.0]
You can also configure what happens when you activate furniture (chair/bed)...
- Always: Work just like normal activate (DEFAULT)
- When Sneaking: Only allow you to sit/sleep while sneaking
- When Undetected: Only allow you to sit/sleep while sneaking and undetected
- Never: you need to use the normal activation key

Intelligent Cast
----------------
Default: G

If you press this key it will act just like the normal cast, but will prevent you from casting a hostile spell with a friendly actor RIGHT in front of you (it will only check if the target name is showing up). If you start casting the spell with nothing in front of you and turn toward the friendly it will still work!

This is mainly to prevent thinking your charming an NPC when you are actually lighting them on fire.

NOTE: This should not be set to the same key as your normal cast key.

WARNING: This works just like the normal cast key when in battle (you can hurt allies)

You can configure it to...
- Work just like the normal cast
- Only allow you to harm frendlies when sneaking (DEFAULT)
- Only allow you to harm frendlies when sneaking and undetected
- Never allow you to harm frendlies

Delete Spell
------------
Key: Shift+Delete

It should be obvious what this does, simply go into your spell menu, highlight a spell, and press Shift+Delete (can not be configured). It will ask confirmation and will NOT delete powers, diseases, or abilities.

NOTE: The spell will still appear in your spell menu until you leave and re-enter it.

Messages
--------
You can now disable informational messages (QuickCasting, Switching QuickSets, etc.), but you will still be informed of changes.

Advanced Configuration
======================

Timings -> Keyboard Poll Rate
-----------------------------
This is how many seconds between checks for which keys are pressed. Higher values cause increased performance, but may cause key-presses to be missed.

Timings -> QuickCast Wait
-----------------------------
A QuickCast must change you current spell, then wait, then cast the spell, the wait again, and finally restore your original spell. The effective amount of time for a QuickCast is twice this value. If your QuickCasts are not working properly you need to increase this value. If you decrease this value your QuickCasts will happen faster, IF they work at all.

Reinitialize
------------
This will reset all keys and timings to their defaults. If you use this you will NOT lose your QuickCast spell settings, your QuickGroup hot-key items, or your QuickSet equipment items, only your key settings and timings.
