    v 1.09 is up:
    * Fixed a couple bugs in Ri'zakar's dialogue that prevented him from talking after the Massacre at Forsaken Mine quest.

    General note: If you find any bugs, be as specific as possible when reporting them. If you have a bug in a quest, report all the actions you took in that quest up to that point. The quests have lots of variables, so it's important to know what you did so that I can find the error/bug more easily.

    This mod is full of so many bugs that it's impossible without multiple tries and reloads and headshakings. Just letting you know in advance. I've finished 3 quests so far and I've encountered gamebreaking bugs in every one of those quests.

    Okay so not sure what I am doing wrong here,  maybe there is a compatibility issue that I am having? Because I installed the mod just as you said in the description, threw them into the Data folder and enabled them in OBMM, and once they are enabled the game CTDs as soon as the Bethesda logo shows up and I have even tried with every other mod I have off while these are on, still the same crash issue.

      Disabling 'C&C - The Blackwood Company - OOO.esp' worked for me

    Pretty sure this mod is deadware but for people looking into it and check posts maybe someone will find this useful.

    This mod is great but it is FILLED with bugs and inconvienent aspects that make it frustrating to play.

    if you leave Viranus Donton alive the questline will softlock you NEED to kill him.

    during the quest to find a mole the dialogue moves very quickly meaning you need another mod that slows that dialogue down to read it properly this is true for every quest where the characters tell you very important information that is otherwise missed. and can make it SUPER frustrating to play. The Galus quest also does this problem where its not made very clear what specifically you have to do, for me I thought after getting the papers i needed to find his body but that wasnt the case and had to instead go to the village instead.

    The mod halfway through stops putting the icons on your map of the locations you have to visit for no real reason.

    Powerful Hist sap (the reward you get for killing hilda) does literally nothing

    Hist Sap in general is underwhelming... come on you have access to a super illegal controlled, mind altering substance and all it does is fortify your warrior esq skills by 20? lame.

    even if you dont become the leader of the blackwood company you will still get the event that fines you 2000 gold as if you were the leader and dialogue isnt changed to reflect the fact you arent the one in charge

    The rewards in the quest are clearly aimed at early level gameplay and dont scale well on late game characters.

    during the quest to defend Ajum in Glademist the blackwood company guy who talks to you will charge through the cave and blow all your traps if you dont stop AI activity immediately. TAI in the console, thank me later.

    the argonian lady you recruit is always naked in the cave.

    Ajum Kajin will be ambushed by a randomly spawning fighters guild member after you finish destroying or assimilating the fighters guild and is unsavable without console commands to disable the AI. (again TAI, you're welcome)

    Brotus the guy in the Imperial City you recruit actually spawns IN the blackwood company hall instead of the imperial city and the game does not tell you his name to put the pieces together I only found out from a youtube video here on the mod page. THEN if you accept his side quest he will then decide to travel BACK to the imperial city and often ends up getting stuck fighting mobs on the road.

    Ja Fazir if you tell him to follow you instead of remain in the ayleid ruin will be your permanent essential follower who hates murder so uh, have fun killing the fighters guild halls. Always leave him to die.

    during the quest where you free the prisoners the game doesnt tell you where to go, only that they're on the road from leyawin to bravil. me thinking they'd be close to the cave you'll drop them off at just went to bravil and got very confused. they're just outside leyawin's gates, skill issue on my part.

    The orc guy you  help in Ambush or Escort will always spawn with you when you go to Jail?

    and thats just the stuff i found. Very broken mod overall that will likely never be fixed. its such a shame cause it IS good but held back by the lack of QOL features, no quest markers when some quests really need them or more information, and god the bugs.

      Thanks for this. It definitely compares with my experience. Below I posted about a bunch of weird bugs I was having with the mod; do you have any idea how to take care of those? It's a long shot, but I do love the mod despite the bugs.

      The best you can do is just play around the glitches knowing that they're there.

      i've played through the mod 3 times at this point. and know that i MUST kill Viranus donton, know that i should NEVER do Brotus Slim or Medleen's side quest, cause i cant be bothered to track him down on the road from leyawin to the imperial city and Medleen decides to store all her gear in a chest instead of wearing it anyways.know that killing hilda is NOT worth it as Powerful Hist Sap does nothing, know exactly where to go and what quests have problems. And tbh just follow the walkthrough and read the spoilers, the mod is VERY hard to navigate at times without it.

      as for the Ajum Kajin glitch. 

      as SOON as you return there, open the console and type TAI then click enter, this disables all AI processing giving you time to run all the way down there and kill the bugged out Fighters killed member killing Ajum

      as for Vilena? uh.... idk i've never joined the fighters guild AND the Blackwood company, that might be your problem there.

      Thanks so much - very helpful! Is there some way to use the console to remove my Fighters' Guild membership (or, for that matter, to resign in-game)?

      I was able to use the console to get to the end of the last quest, and just killed the normal Vilena NPC in-game. How interesting/difficult is the Vilena provided by the mod?

      Vilena in this mod is not any stronger than base-game.

      as for leaving the fighters guild, open console and do
      player.setfactionrank 0002228f -1

      This will set you faction rank with the fighters guild to be -1 aka removing you from the faction

    I'm having a bunch of bizarre issues with this mod. After defeating the invasion of the Blackwood Company's cave, when I leave and then return, a bunch of Fighters' Guild people spawn in Ajum-Kajin's room, and they kill him before I can get to him. When I try to recruit Fighters' Guild outposts, I'm told that I can't talk to Fighters' Guild members because I've been kicked out of the guild. When I rejoin the guild by collecting minotaur horns and then go to Vilena Donton, the script to start her conversation with me doesn't begin; she just tells me that I've been kicked out of the guild for good. Does anyone know how to fix some or all of these problems?

    For massacre at forsaken mine I took the hist sap, ja'fazir came with me we killed all the trolls and rats and mudcrabs bc I assume those are the fighterrs guild members but nothing happened when I cleared the cave

    A great mod! Need the console sometimes to set queststages, because triggers didn't work as intended, but meh. Really cool stuff here!

    First of - best mod in terms of characters and atmosphere depth, appreciate it a lot, having great fun plying it.

    Bug, however, prevents me from completing recruiting a guy in Bruma. He simply does not exist i the tavern. Don't know how to proceed, would be nice to have some guide on how to console complete quests for such cases (at leat this one for now).

    Would highly appreciate any answers to this. Thank you.

    Is talking to the smuggler in the smuggler quest mandatory for the guards and smuggled goods to spawn? I accidentally killed him before I could talk to him and I had quick saved after I had done so.  Resurrecting does nothing due to the quest stage advancing upon his death.  I checked all over blackwood and I'm coming up with nothing.

    If so, is there a way to advance the quest via setstage commands?  I've completed this mod once before so aside from some differing choices on quest branchlines I know how the mod plays out storywise.

    A must have for any evil character play-through!  Can be difficult and confusing and not without a few bugs but very rewarding from a roleplay perspective and almost every quest has multiple solutions with different effects down the line!
