This is a great mod mate!!! I've been looking for mod to spiff up my favourite castle in the game and your mod does that perfectly well!!!
It would be amazing if you could add more gaurds in the castle cause sometimes i feel a bit lonely in the castle seeing as their are barely any guards and it would also be amazing if you could add a few scripted "attempted" invasions of the castle where your men could warn you about them and the bad guys (bandits, marauders e.t.c) attempt to take over the castle but fail to add a bit of atmosphere to the castle. XD
I really hope you take these suggestions into consideration and please keep up with the great work on this mod!!!
I think that the barricade is fine as long as it disappears later on, like when the player finishes buying all interior items.
I also think there should be more enemies in front of the castle when you arrive there initially; otherwise Lord Kelvyn's writing his will seems a little too desperate since there are only, like, 4 enemies there.
I like the idea of restoring the hidden passage and grotto. If you do this, be sure to get rid of the dungeon music there (once the enemies are gone). Maybe the grotto fix-up could be something you purchase like the Dwemer forge.
This mod is a good idea, but it's far from finished. I look forward to seeing progress on this.
I'm not planning on it. However I would like to see it restored to its former glory after you kill the undead in it. So maybe at some point in the future, but my skills aren't that good yet.
The barricade was added to slow attackers down so archers have more time to take down their targets. It also serves to stop cavalry, no horse will charge into a row of sharpened stakes. The reason I place them in front of the gate is to stop any attempts of a ram and to force the attackers to bottle neck. The reason they are in front of the walls is to keep any one from scaling the walls at a distance. I will look into adding more NPCs.

As for the dead bodies sounds like a good idea but perhaps adding more hostile npc outside of the gate to make it seam they really need help.
Just my two cease.
