Any thing about this mod that would prevent me from making changes to her appearance on the Construction Set? I’m trying to darken her skin a little through the Construction set but after it sends the file over to the data the changes dont show in the game.
Make a new save using an alternative start mod. Use Wrye Bash to import her face to that save from this mods esp. Load that save and change the face. Save it. Import that new face to this mods esp. Open this mod with xEdit. Mark both characters (using Control + left click on both). Scroll down to the bottom. Move the face data from the imported character to the original one.
It follows the original mod from Baldur's Gate II. Yes, she does fall instantly in love with the player. I'm going to be working on porting this to Skyrim by request.
Thanks for reply, Cool ya as I played I learned more what you meant and finished all her great little flirts and progression with you. (was originally just confused by the choose flirts options starting out so strong that all).
I like the concept of this character, but she seem very buggy and need refinement. It possible she need to be update for the newest version of OBSE. In combat for example she keeps sheathing and unsheathing her weapon. Also it seems odd she fell in love with your character right of the bat.
Voice acting is good, but there a lot of unvoiced and un-texted dialog.
Hopefully work on this character will resume and all bugs worked out.
I can try doing that. The unvoiced lines are because I took it from the original mod for Baldur's Gate II. Only the first lines were voiced. I don't think the original voice actress is online anymore.
I honestly don't understand the hype with this mod. Her follower system is great but everything else is terrible. The voice acting really breaks any immersion even remotely possible. You can hear air hitting the microphone. She doesn't look as good as expected which is another downside. The follower system is great though. Its nice that you can tell her to use a bow or a sword and have her sneak. Overall though I just can't endorse this mod.
Agreed. I just tried it and didn't even get out of the chapel before uninstalling. The voice acting is so horrendous that it's unplayable, IMO. Well designed otherwise, but ... yeah. I remember playing the Baldur's Gate version at one time and enjoying it more but it feels like that was a decade ago so maybe my standards weren't as high.

She had initiated a few talks with me, but they were just to do random questions which I answered and that was it. She's repeating now, talking about her long hair. Flirts are also repetitive.

If Saerileth has no head or hair, check to see that you didn't install the update without the actual core mod.

EDIT: try the simple attack target, or follow me commands, they are voiced IIRC.
