if you are still checking this i would like to know what magical retexture u used for those screenies. Im going to try but i think all the ratings of others tell me what to expect
This used to work for me, but after a little while away from the game, and a re-install, this doesn't seem to do anything to the target. I cast the spell, I burst into flames, I strike ... nothing. The weapon is enchanted (got the little blue ball and everything) - what's missing?

This is an incredible mod. I have only one thing that I can think of that would improve it:
There should be an enchanting effect that amplifies these spell effects while the enchanted weapon is used. This should be an enchantment that is constant, and thus would take up the full energy of a soul gem by default, making these weapons special because of their catalytic powers, rather than just being filled with uber-charges.
Regardless, I think this idea is ingenious, and should have been in the original game.
Whenever I used weapon magic on a bow and hit an activatable item (like a door) I'll instant crash. I've tried both channeling and one-shot enchantment and they both has the same problem. This problem does not occur with melee weapon though.
.....You sir , have saved my Oblivion experience. Supreme magika? It was alright. But flinging the same fireball is annoying. Mighty magika! Heck yeah! New spells and man , awesome affects an-....What the hell happened to my mana regen? So I was about ready to call it quits. Archer character wasn't doing enough , couldn't make my morrowind halberd warrior Dark elf , and now , no mage.
Yet , your mod is vulking brilliant. It works smoothly (Besides my first attempt at using vampire weapon on an undead creature. THAT made oblivion angry) and my only complaint on such a wonderful mod is , when I want to dispel my weapon , it doesn't seem to let me. Which isn't that bad.
Really, really awesome job on this mod. I've always been mildly annoyed at the "charges" system used to power weapons... being able to use my own mana pool to power my weapons is just plain awesome. It's not only a great alternative as a gameplay system, it's great for RPing, too... I can actually make a Spellsword that really functions like one.
If anyone downloaded V1.1 (not V1.1b) Update to version 1.1b as soon as possible, there's a very serious glitch in v1.1 that will make your enemies immune to magic after a few hits.
