Hands down the most beautiful companion ever released for the game. Clair is a goddess and the pictures don't do her justice. Seems to be some confusion about her class. A Rouge is a combat based character, not stealth based. She specializes in blade, light armor and speed over strength. The only thing I don't like is that she keeps conjuring bound armor (boots, gauntlets, greaves), so I can't give her one or two piece armor sets because she ends up fighting in the nude.
Thank you DA! I'm using many of your wonderful companions (Clair, Brinn, Aliyah, Tamara, Raewyn) and I love them all!
when i give her something to wear, and when i tell her to take something off she just takes off all her clothes and i cant get her to put her default clothes back on. Never Mind
Sounds like you need to make a choice then (noting old post). I've tried removing spells from characters, but it seems the game engine makes sure certain types of characters/classes have certain spells at certain levels. Except for thief or Warrior class, i.e. a no magic class, virtually every other class that does any kind of magic does summon various pieces of bound armor or weapons. You'll just have to give her clothes or armor pants that will mesh with her summoning boots or gauntlets. I was always caught off guard every time my vanilla mage companion would suddenly go topless in a fight, until I finally realized npc mages routinely summon bound greaves.
Please could someone tell me there any way of stopping Clair from summoning bound weapons? It becomes an issue when I equip her with a one-piece armour and she summons boots, for example, resulting in her fighting in her underwear! I know that in a previous post someone suggested giving her a version of the bound spell that replaces all her armour, but that doesn't seem very elegant.
