I have tried many face texture mods and this seemed to make the biggest improvement. Are there any others I could combine with this to improve it further? Please include load order or which ones should override the other if known.
While this is a huge improvement over the stock textures, it is not IMO as good as Enayla's previous face textures pack. These textures have a more natural lip color, less defined eyebrows, and no eyeliner, so males tend to look more natural. The downside to this is that it is harder to make nice looking eyes and eyebrows on female PCs. The bigger problem though was the yellow / green lips that others have reported as well. I tried this with no mods installed other than IFT, so I'm not sure what is going on there. I really wanted to like this, but I couldn't live with the lip problem and went back to the previous version.
I endorsed this mod. Together with IFT is great facial improvement, especially on lips. I don't care, that same races have yellow lips and line on the neck. I can live with that, because generally NPC's and my character have so much better, detailed faces than before. And I like mods with easy installation and this is one of them. Rating: 10 of 10!
Um, no, the "*_n.dds" files are normal maps -- normal maps are basically inverted copies of the texture in question (more or less, less than more) -- they affect how the texture renders, and they need to change depending on what texture you're using. I imagine that Enayla's Normal maps + some other face texture would look really strange.
You can use Natural Faces OR Enayla's New Face Textures -- they replace the same thing, it's an either/or thing. If you knew enough about modding, you could probably create some hybrid of the two, but, well. That's a whole other thing.
So when i install Natural faces and then the 2nd version of Enayla's New Facial textures, it overwrites everything Natural Faces just installed. Shouldn't it leave the "*_n.dds" files or something?

I don't suppose you have the old files anywhere?
Just back to Oblivion and looking for the previous version - which I also preferred
Thanks
